Personal Letter – February, 2011
Dear Christian Friend,
I greet you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and may His peace and joy fill your heart and life. And may His perfect will be done in us all and in the earth!
There is no greater joy than seeing God’s people walking with God in holiness, joy and peace and in health. God’s Word states: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 2)
In this Scripture St. John was anointed by God and his wish for us is the will of God for us all. These three things are the will of God for us as much as they were for those in the First Century Church
There were many blessings that the great Apostle desired for the church but these three were the foremost, namely: prosperity, health, spirituality! Let us examine these three blessings.
THESE BLESSINGS ARE OURS THROUGH CHRIST!
It is God’s will that we prosper in every area of our life, having sufficient funds and ability to look after our family. Be healthy. Prosper spiritually! The first two blessings are contingent upon the spiritual component. The closer we are to God, the more physical and material blessing we will receive!
Many families have great personal needs of God’s forgiveness, divine healing and deliverance from the works of darkness. We all need His healing virtue, compassion and faith.
This Scripture tells me that He and wants to meet those needs. Christ is acquainted with our lives and longs to fellowship with us and minister to us His great blessings!
In Jesus’ name, I speak blessing and healing to every life reading this letter for God’s glory, honour and praise!
