PASTOR MAX PREACHED IN HIGH PRAIRIE IN
1973 & MY LIFE WAS CHANGED BY JESUS CHRIST!

“A lot of people were attending the Gospel Meetings in the High School in High Prairie being conducted by Rev. Max Solbrekken of Edmonton.
I was in such terrible pains because my spine was deteriorating badly. I was quite pregnant and had a very difficult time to walk or get around. The Doctor told me not to have anymore children because my back was in serious condition.
We didn't have a vehicle, so I had to walk; and it was very difficult me to walk all bent over in pain and pregnant.
Many people were getting saved and healed. You could see the visible miracles happening right there. They were praising the Lord, and that was quite new for us.
I saw Dorothy Jean Alook get saved and received prayer for cancer. When she went into the washroom to examine her breast she discovered that she was made well and the sores had instantly healed up.
I knew if I could get the ‘Man of God’ to pray for my back, I would be healed! And it happened just like Jesus said it would. He kept His promise to answer the ‘Prayer of Faith’. When Brother Max laid his hands on me and prayed in Jesus' name, I straightened right out and all the pains were gone!
We had another three children and I am still well after 38 years. When Henry and I heard Max Solbrekken preach in High Prairie last month, he asked me to share my testimony.
After the service as we were having lunch I told him: “Some people call us Sweet Marie and O’ Henry like the chocolate bars.” I give God all the glory for keeping me saved and well all these years!”
