God is Love. He is Truth. He is Knowledge. He is Wisdom. He is Power. He is Eternal. He is Creator, Sustainer, Saviour, Healer, Deliverer, Emancipator. He is Triune: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. God the Father loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the rugged cross for our sins and rise from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, to Redeem us, Save us and Adopt us into His glorious Heavenly Kingdom. - Pastor Max Solbrekken

        OUR HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES US

      We have been correctly taught that we must reverence God with holy awe and respect because He is the ‘Judge of the entire world’, as well as our Creator, Saviour, Healer and Life giver!

     What many do not understand is that GOD IS LOVE and desires to bless us and also hungers for our love to be expressed to Him. Unlike the Old Testament prophets, Jesus Christ brought us a new understanding of the Almighty. He came to earth to show us what God is like. He wants us to know Him as He did. He taught us to call Him ‘Our Father’.

      The Bible says, “For when we were yet without strength (hopeless), in due time Christ died for the ungodly. But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet SINNERS, Christ died for us.” (Rom.5: 6)

      God’s Word states, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us ETERNAL LIFE, and this life is in His SON.  He that hath the Son hath LIFE and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. “(1 John 5: 11-12)    

     Ever since the tragic fall of our first parents, Adam and Eve, man has been in need of a SAVIOUR!  The Bible says, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom.3:23)    

    ISAIAH declared: “Surely He hath borne our sicknesses (heb. makob) and carried our pains (heb. nasa): yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed.” (Isa.53: 4, 5)

                               BECAUSE HE LIVES WE LIVE ALSO!

      St. Paul wrote: “For if, when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Rom.5: 10). His shed BLOOD reconciled us to God and since He is now ALIVE, He pours His LIFE into us; body, soul and spirit!

    The Bible says: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly: and I pray God your whole SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thes.5: 23)

    Our bodies belong to God: “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your BODY, and in your SPIRIT, which are God’s.” (1 Cor.6: 20)

    Little-minded THEOLOGIANS teach that miracles happened only in the lives of O.T prophets and the apostles. God has moderated His power and changed His modus operandi! Faithless men-of-the-cloth have high-jacked the Church, claiming the right to supersede God’s Word and Will. How Sad!

    God’s Word says: “Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him: BUT FOR US ALSO...” (Rom.4: 23, 24). Today they say that it was only for the early Church. They were wrong then and they are wrong now! The Holy Spirit is still in charge: “God hath set some in the church, first apostles…after that miracles, then gifts of healings…” (1 Cor.12:28) Amen.
