All Anybody
Needs to Know to Understand Politics
“Socialism is a
philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its
inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” — Winston Churchill
1. You cannot legislate the poor into
prosperity by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without
working another person must work without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to
anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot
multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the
idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care
of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work
because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning
of the end of any nation.
“The
danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a
man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama
presidency than to restore the
necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to
have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more
serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the
prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that
made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack
Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a
multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.”
