                I BELIEVE ALL

       Jesus rebuked His disciples who doubted that He had risen from the dead: “… O fools, and slow of heart to BELIEVE ALL that the prophets have spoken.” (Luke 24: 25); 

    “Why are ye troubled? And why do thoughts arise in your hearts? And when He had thus spoken, He showed them His hands and His feet.” (Luke 24: 38-40) 

    “Afterward He appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them for their UNBELIEF and HARDNESS OF HEART, because they believed not them which had seen Him after He was risen.” (Mark 16: 15)

     St. Paul testified before King Agrippa: “But this I confess unto thee, that after the WAY which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, BELIEVING ALL THINGS which are written in the law and the prophets: And have hope toward God…that there shall be a resurrection of the just and the unjust.” (Acts 24: 14,15)

    JESUS said: “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8: 32)                      

     During the past 50 years it has been my privilege to serve God and my fellowman in many nations of the world as a Minister. 

    By God’s grace I have spoken the words of Jesus Christ thousands of times to huge crowds of spiritually hungry people. 

     It has been my joy to look at a sea of faces and upraised hands in surrender to the Lord and hear their prayers of repentance and faith in response to the preaching of God’s Word!

JESUS CHRIST ALONE SAVES!

      

     

    Our LORD said: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me.” (John 14: 6);  “I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved.” (John 10: 9-10); “I am the Good Shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (John 10: 11)

   “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto Him and sup with him and he with Me.” (Rev. 3: 20);

    “Come unto me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” (Matt.11: 28); “He that cometh unto Me, I will in no wise cast out.” (John 6: 37)

      

    I have led hundreds of thousands of precious souls in the ‘SINNER’S PRAYER’ in our crusades using those power – filled words.

   And I have personally witnessed the changed lives of many people after they sincerely and humbly bowed their knees and hearts before Almighty God in repentance and faith. Jesus Christ’s finished work on Calvary’s cross and His victorious resurrection from the dead changes lives!

      One of the things that has upset me, however, is that even though the Gospel of Christ is totally reliable, compelling and available, and the Holy Bible has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be inspired, authoritative and inerrant, yet multitudes still refuse to receive the risen Christ as their Lord and Saviour!

      They doubt the Word of God, but believe a damnable lie without an honest investigation of the facts! How could this TRAVESTY happen? The only possible explanation is found in God’s Word:

   “The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not … that they may be damned.” (2 Cor.4: 3-4; 1 John 2: 11; Rom.1: 28)

    “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

    “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” (John 3: 19, 20)

Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak of dignities.

    “And they shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots are they and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you.

   “Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls; an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children.” (2 Peter 2:1,2,9,1013,14)

     The Bible says of itself: “For the Word of God is quick (alive) and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul (mind) and spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.” (Heb. 4: 12)

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

      We do not sit in judgment of the Word of God. We must conform to its laws, counsel and admonition. We dare not judge God’s Word. It judges us!!!

     The Word of God ministers to every area of our lives: spirit, soul (mind) and body! It brings the life of Jesus into our inner man, peace to our minds and divine healing to our bodies!

      “And the very God of Peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thess. 5: 23) 

    I believe all of God’s Word and will settle for nothing less. Amen!

In Egypt, Christians Flee Town After Militant Threats

CAIRO (AP) - Coptic Christian families have fled their homes in a town in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, fearing for their lives after receiving death threats from suspected Islamic militants, a local priest said Thursday.

Father Youssef Sobhi said that Islamic militants dropped leaflets on the doorsteps of shops owned by Copts in the city of Rafah near the border with Gaza and Israel, ordering them to leave town within 48 hours and making an implicit warning of violence if they failed to do so. Two days later, masked militants on a motorcycle opened fire on one of the shops before speeding off, Sobhi said. No one was hurt in the shooting.

When Christians met Tuesday with the province's top government official, who was recently appointed by Egypt's new Islamist president, Mohammed Morsi, the governor promised to facilitate the Copts' move to the nearby city of el-Arish but did not offer to protect the community to ensure that it stayed in Rafah, according to the priest.

"I was shocked at the governor's response," Sobhi said. "This is simply displacement by the government's consent."

An Egyptian intelligence official confirmed that a number of Coptic families had fled Rafah because of a militant threat. Another security official denied the reports and said that no Christians were forced to leave. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to brief the media.

It was not exactly clear how many Christians have left the town, but Sobhi said that the number of Copts in Rafah had dwindled from 14 families to two since the uprising that pushed longtime autocrat Hosni Mubarak from power in February 2011.

A first wave left Rafah after the only church in the town, The Holy Family Church, was looted, torched and destroyed in several militant attacks over the past year. The church is built on the site where Christians believe the Holy Family first stopped to rest after crossing into Egypt.

Sobhi was in the first group of Christians to flee, although he returns frequently to Rafah check on his parish.

Mamdouh Nasef, the Coptic shop owner who recently came under attack, said that his Muslim neighbors are urging him to stay and pledging to protect him.

"They can't guard me 24 hours a day, and I fear for my children," Nasef said by telephone. "My children were born here and Muslims here are like my brothers."

Nasef is still in Rafah, but plans to return to his hometown in southern Egypt.

There have been incidents of sectarian violence in Egypt in the past. In July, in the village of Dahshour south of Cairo a Muslim mob torched Christian homes and shops and damaged the local church, forcing many Coptic families to flee the village. The violence was sparked when a personal dispute swelled into violence and a Muslim man died.

In Sinai, the threats against the Christians, who are estimated at around 10 percent of Egypt's population of 85 million, are a symptom of the broader lawlessness that has hit the peninsula since the popular uprising ousted Mubarak. Since then, security has deteriorated across Egypt, particularly in Sinai where heavily armed Islamic groups have exploited the security vacuum to wage attacks on police stations and call for the establishment of an Islamic state.

Militants from Rafah, along with those from the neighboring Gaza Strip who cross into Sinai through an elaborate network of underground tunnels, have also waged cross border attacks into Israel. In one of their most recent strikes, masked militants killed 16 Egyptian soldiers near the border in early August.

Under Mubarak, Christians complained of discrimination from the government, which did little to prevent attacks on the community by hardline Muslims. Many Christians fled to the United States and other Western countries, and tensions have risen since Mubarak's police state has given way to a state of lawlessness.

With the election of the country's first Islamist president, Mohammed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood, many Christians have grown increasingly concerned about their place in Egypt.

Those worries only deepened after Egyptian Coptic Christians in the United States posted a 14-minute clip entitled "Innocence of Muslims," which denigrates Islam and the Prophet Muhammad, portraying him as a womanizer, a fraud and a child molester. The film has sparked angry protests across the Muslim world as well as attacks on U.S. embassies, including one in Libya that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. The wave of protests began in Cairo, where demonstrators breached the walls of the U.S. Embassy.

Also Thursday, an Egyptian court has upheld a six-year jail sentence for a Coptic Christian school teacher convicted of insulting Islam and the country's Islamist president in postings on Facebook.

Egypt's MENA state news agency says a court in the southern province of Sohag agreed with a lower court ruling that found Michelle Bishoy, also known as Bishoy el-Behiri, guilty of blasphemy after posting pictures that were deemed offensive to Islam's Prophet Muhammad. The court also upheld Bishoy's conviction on charges of insulting Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi.

Thursday's ruling can be appealed.

The case is the second this month in which a Coptic Christian has been detained for posting material considered anti-Islamic on social networking sites.

Lawmakers 'suspicious' administration 'trying to hide' Libya attack details

Fresh claims that U.S. intelligence officials knew practically from the start that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was terrorism possibly tied to Al Qaeda have lawmakers alleging they were misled and questioning whether the administration has something to hide. 

"This is turning into something not short of Benghazi-gate," Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told Fox News, adding he's "very suspicious" about the way the administration has handled this. 

Two senior U.S. officials told Fox News on Thursday that U.S. intelligence officials knew within 24 hours of the assault that it was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved. 

The account sharply conflicted with claims by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice on the Sunday after the attack that the administration believed the strike was a "spontaneous" event triggered by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islam film. 

"The best information and the best assessment we have today is that in fact this was not a preplanned, premeditated attack -- that what happened initially was it was a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired in Cairo as a consequence of the video," Rice said on "Fox News Sunday" at the time. 

Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, a member of the House intelligence committee, said that's consistent with what lawmakers were told in briefings. 

"If there was information a day after that was to the contrary, I think Congress was misled," Thornberry told Fox News. "But again, it's even more serious than that. It means that we have a real problem in not being able to face up to the national security challenges our country faces." 

Corker also said a briefing he and his colleagues received was "worthless," and he demanded "answers" about the changing story. "This has now turned into a very bipartisan concern," he said. "There has to be something that they're trying to hide or cover up. ... This is just not the norm. This is way out of the norm, what is happening in this case." 

Democratic and Republican lawmakers on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on which Corker sits, sent a letter to the State Department Thursday asking a string of new questions about security at U.S. diplomatic posts. 

President Obama's aides have denied any attempt to cover things up. "No one either intentionally or unintentionally misled anyone involved in this," campaign adviser Robert Gibbs said on "Fox News Sunday." "No one wants to get to the bottom of this more than we do."

Curiously, Obama referred to "acts of terror" in his first public remarks about the attack. But from there, administration officials went on to blame the anti-Islam film. 

Rice was the most explicit in that explanation, insisting in those Sunday shows that the attack was not pre-planned and was tied to the film. Obama still has not publicly and specifically described the Benghazi attack as terrorism

. 

But top administration officials have gradually walked back Rice's version of events. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was the latest Thursday to declare: "It was a terrorist attack."  

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly suggested Wednesday to foreign leaders visiting the United Nations summit in New York that the Al Qaeda affiliate in North Africa was involved. 

She was referring to Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. That's the group that, according to senior officials, the intelligence community suspected by Sept. 12, the day after the attack, of being involved -- along with the militant Ansar al-Shariah. 

Officials also confirmed they had several "intelligence assets" on the ground to track Ansar al-Shariha and Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. They said the attack was labeled as terrorism from the start in order to free up certain resources. Specifically, it was labeled under the "Authorization for the Use of Military Force Against Terrorists" category, created by a post-9/11 congressional action.

Clinton earlier this week called the attack terrorism, two weeks after the fact. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney also said that Obama now believes it was terrorism as well.

Yet a congressional source told Fox News that CIA Director David Petraeus, during a briefing with members of the House Intelligence Committee three days after the attack, also espoused the view that Benghazi was an out-of-control demonstration prompted by the YouTube video. According to the source, this was "shocking" to some members who were present and saw the same intelligence pointing toward a terrorist attack. 

In addition, sources confirm that FBI agents have not yet arrived in Benghazi in the aftermath of the attack. Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the assault. 

One intelligence official clarified to Fox News that there was not a "definitive" lead on who might have been responsible for the Libya attacks in the immediate aftermath, though officials had an idea of the suspects. 

"It's inaccurate to suggest that within the first 24 hours there was a definitive calling card and home address for the perpetrators of the Benghazi attack. Potential suspects and data points emerge early on, but it still takes time to be certain who is responsible," the official said.

Netanyahu described the branches of “militant Islam,” which he said includes the rulers of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and al Qaeda.

“Despite their differences,” he said, “they’re all rooted in the same bitter soil of intolerance.”

“That intolerance is directed first to their fellow Muslims, then to Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, secular people - anyone who doesn’t submit to their unforgiving creed. They want to drag humanity back to an age of unquestioning dogma, unrelenting conflict,” Netanyahu said.
