HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO
ALL MOTHERS EVERYWHERE!
Robert Metzgar graciously sent me several discs of great artists which he had produced through Platinum Plus Records of Nashville, Tennessee. On the 'Smoky River Boys' there is a song that gripped my heart. The song is called, 'Happy Father's Day, Mother'.
It was written by a young man whose father had passed away when he was two years of age and his mother only twenty two. He gives tribute to his mother on Father's day as well as Mother's Day because she had taught how to be a boy and a man just like his Dad would have done!
Today I give tribute to my precious mother who gave her self without reservation together with my dear father, for their six children. They are both with the Lord after having lived the kind of lives that made me want to be a Christian. When I looked for a wife I wanted her to be like my mother!
I give tribute today to my precious wife Donna who has been a tower of strength to our family and when I had to be away in my overseas Crusades for long periods of time, Donna was there. I salute her in Jesus' name. Thank you, Darling!
I honour my daughters, Connie, Linda, Diane and Betty as well as our daughters-in-law, Lena and Viveca for being amazing mothers. May God's blessings rest upon you and your families today and every day. May His guiding and healing hands help you as you lead your families in the way of love, grace and truth.
For mothers everywhere, I say: "I am proud of you all. May the blessings of Almighty God through Jesus Christ our Lord bring peace, joy, health and happiness to every home and family. In Jesus' name, Amen."
