THE KING IS COMING!

Jesus said: “Behold I come quickly and My reward is with Me to give unto every man as His work shall be.” (Rev 22:12). Addressing St. John the Apostle on the Isle of Patmos, our Lord declared that His COMING was imminent. He would RETURN shortly!
Other translations are: ‘soon, at once and without delay’. Why has not Jesus returned yet? St. Peter answers that question so well: “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3: 8, 9)
The TWO REASONS St. Peter gave then are still legitimate today, namely: First, Jesus does not reckon time like we do and secondly, He is waiting for more precious souls to be saved. He is waiting for you, my friend, will you receive Him as your Lord and Saviour today? If you open your heart to Him, He will receive you as His very own!
Jesus Christ invites: “Come unto Me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” (Matt.11: 28); “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if ant man hear My voice , and open the door, I will come in to Him, and will sup with him, and He with Me.” (Rev.3: 20).
“I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO JESUS CHRIST FOR
CALLING ME TO PREACH HIS GOSPEL.”
It is indeed, a great honour and a very humbling experience that the Lord in His great mercy saved an unworthy sinner such as I, and that He chose me to preach the unsearchable, indestructible, imperishable, unrelenting, indispensable, unchanging, irresistible, incomprehensible and eternal Gospel of Jesus Christ!
