Dear Max,
Our sincere regret in not in not being able to attend your 80th birthday celebration. Warren and I have always appreciated your ministry. You have been faithful in many ways:
- bringing the gospel to people of the nations
- taking a message of healing and deliverance
-speaking out for the Christian community
We say thank you for your faithful ministry. May the Lord continue to bless and prosper you. And may you have many more days of service for Him.
Heaven awaits. With this thought in mind I would like to include the following poem by Max Lucado.
We'll Be Home Soon
You may not have noticed it, but you are closer to home than ever
before. Each moment is a step taken. Each day is a mile marked, a
mountain climbed. You are closer to home than you've ever been.
And, maybe - in the back behind the crowds - the ONE who would
rather die than live without you will remove His pierced hands from
His heavenly robe and ... applaud.
"...Someday we are going to see Him in His completeness, face to face. Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now." 1 Corinthians 13: 12 TLB
Rejoicing in your many years of service to the Lord,
Warren & Lois Hatheway
