GOD'S LAST
MESSAGE
TO A FAST
DYING WORLD

On April
7, 1860 the Goncourt Brothers
Journal of France stated that leading scientists were predicting that
within a hundred years, man would know the constitution of the atom and be able
to create life synthetically in competition with God.
"We
have a feeling", wrote Edmond de Goncourt and Jules de Goncourt, "that
when this time comes to pass, God ...will come down to earth swinging His bunch
of keys and will say to humanity as they say at 5:00 o'clock in the morning,
"Closing time, gentlemen."
When
people ask me to comment on Canada's new laws that elevate adultery to
respectability in Common Law Marriages, gives a thumbs up to the
sin of homosexuality and have high-jacked the millennia-old-rite of marriage
between one man and one woman, by creating a hybrid, pseudo man-on-man same-sex marriage, we are now at the 'tipping
point'.
And when
society in general has turned from the worship of Almighty God and His Son Jesus
Christ the Redeemer of the world, and have embraced the gods of the New
Age Movement, Secular Humanism and Atheistic Evolution and have
embraced pornography, child molestation, abortion, alcohol and drug abuse,
gambling and violence, I say:
It is an
indictment upon a deteriorating society and a sad commentary upon a people who
have given up so much good solid common sense, respected tradition and
righteous moral values and received so little in return, and in most cases the
very opposite!
Our
society is like the ancient Hebrews of
whom God stated: "For My
people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living
waters, and have hewn themselves out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold
no water." (Jer.2: 13)
Again,
the Prophet delivers God's message of mercy: "Thus saith the Lord,
Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good
way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your soul. But they said, We
will not walk therein." (Jer.6: 16)
GOD WILL INVADE THIS WORLD!
In his
book, Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis jars us all with his powerful
truth about the conflict between God and Satan for the souls of men. Here are
his words of warning about the 'end of days':
"God will invade. But I wonder whether people who ask God to
intervene openly and directly in this world quite realize what it will be like
when He does. When that happens it will be the end of the world. When the
Author walks on to the stage the play is over.
God is going to invade, alright. But what is
the good of saying you are on His side then, when you see the whole natural
universe melting away like a dream and something else - something it never
entered your head to conceive - comes crashing in; something so beautiful to
some of us and so terrible to others, that none of us will have any choice
left. It will be too late then to choose your side. That will not be the time
for choosing; it will the time when we discover, which side we really have
chosen, whether we realized it before or not. Now, today, this moment, is our
chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us a chance. It
will not last forever. We must take it or leave it."
CHRIST IS OUR
ONLY HOPE
FOR THIS WORLD
AND ETERNIY!
I leave
you with these powerful words of Holy Scripture from the Pen of St. Paul: "Looking
for that blessed Hope and Glorious Appearing of the Great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity
and purify us unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus
2: 13, 14)
Christ
shed His blood once on Golgotha for us. (Isa.53: 4,5; 1 Peter 2:24); Christ
sheds His Mercy, Love and Grace on us daily. (Titus 3: 5,6); We are Justified
by His Grace (Titus 3:7) and by our Faith. (Rom.5:1). We are empowered and led
by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:7; 1 Cor.2: 10-12; Rom.8: 17). To Him be glory
and honour and praise for evermore! Amen.
