WHAT DO WE BELIEVE & WHAT DO WE STAND FOR?
The Solbrekken Evangelistic Association of Canada has been an
established non-denominational organization for more than 50 years. We are registered with the Government of Canada as a tax
deductible, not for profit religious organization.
We are an
association of like-minded, caring, godly men and women who have renounced the
devil - the god of this world - and have received Jesus Christ the crucified
and risen Redeemer, as our Lord and Saviour. He is the Centre of the Universe
and of our lives. St. Paul stated: “In Him we live and move and have our being.”
(Acts 17: 28)
We have, by God’s grace alone, ministered in the name of Jesus Christ internationally to multitudes
since 1963 by radio, television, literature and Gospel Crusades spreading the Word
of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And our goal is to continue to do so
until He returns! (John 14: 1-3; 1 John 3; 1-3)
In Christ’s name, we have in the past 50 years founded a Bible College, churches and orphanages
worldwide, sponsored and supported Radio and T.V. Stations, churches, Christian
workers and hundreds of Gospel crusades worldwide. (Mark 16: 15-20; Matt. 28:
18-20)
We publish Christian literature, tracts, books and magazines. The Cry of His Coming Magazine which was
first published in 1964 is still mailed out without charge. Our crusades and
teachings may be found on the internet: Higher Praise, Youtube.The Solbrekken Evangelistic Association of Canada is built on the Person
of Jesus Christ, Who alone is the Saviour of the world and the Lord of Glory. We
believe that the Holy Bible is the Word of God and the only true guide for
faith and morals! Jesus Christ is only true Redeemer. He is the Way, the Truth
and the Life and no-one will enter the Kingdom of God except through Him.
We believe in One True God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit! God the
Father gave His only begotten Son as His Pascal Lamb to shed his precious and holy
blood to redeem the world from sin and the powers of Darkness and to satisfy the
demands of Divine Justice. By the disobedience of Adam, sin and death entered
the world as a result of his treasonous actions.
In His great love, mercy and compassion God the Son made the supreme
sacrifice, by entering into time through His incarnation, to free us from the
penalty of the Law by shedding His sinless blood as our Substitute. He became
the propitiation (satisfaction, covering) for our sins! As God the Father
judged His own Son because of our sins, God the Holy Spirit was in Jesus Christ
reconciling the world to Himself! (2 Cor.5: 19-21)
The Solbrekken Evangelistic Association of Canada is an
association of Spirit - filled believers in Christ who embrace all who confess
Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and have repented of their sins, as brothers
and sisters in God's Kingdom.
We are an Association of fallible human beings who believe in an
infallible God and who live by the rules of an infallible book - the Holy Bible
- and who gain strength, direction and guidance from the Infallible Holy Spirit
of God as they confess, profess and proclaim the merits of their Infallible
Leader Jesus Christ, Who is both Saviour and Healer for all who call upon His
Name.We believe that no denomination or church affiliation should be
allowed to separate brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Only unbelief,
pride, greed, selfishness, envy, jealousy, fear or prejudice - which is sin -
can divide God's children who have been foreordained since the foundation of
the world (1 Peter 1:20) and who are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ,
members of the body of Christ (Romans 8:14-17; Ephesians 5:30) and members of
the Household of Faith (Galatians 6:10)We are an Association with a world-wide vision, a burning message
of God’s holiness, forgiveness, joy and peace; a flaming evangel of Christ's
virgin birth, vicarious death and glorious resurrection! An Association
built upon God’s Holy Word, demonstrating divine love and compassion with godly
boldness and fervent joy, confirmed by miracles from Heaven, in answer to believing
prayer.We are an Association with only one goal, purpose and aim - "To make
Jesus Christ known in all His Fullness to as many people as possible before He
Returns."
