Dear Friend in Christ:
Dear Friend in Christ:
Greetings in the precious Name of Jesus Christ! When we meditate on that Majestic Name, our hearts are over - awed by its grandeur and magnificence. All the power of Heaven and earth are at the disposal of dedicated, consecrated children of God who know their standing in Christ. (Phil.2: 5-11)
Demons tremble in fear and obedience when His NAME is spoken with authority and faith! Sickness and disease wither and tumours die when Believers in Christ administer healing and deliverance to sick, dying and tormented souls in JESUS’ Holy and Matchless Name! (Mark 16: 15- 18)
The Crucified and Resurrected Jesus Christ declared: “All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth.” (Matt.28: 18); “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven. Behold I give unto you POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and NOTHING shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10: 18, 19)
Our Saviour Jesus Christ stated: “Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and DOUBT NOT ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and cast into the sea; it shall be done. And ALL THINGS, whatsoever ye shall ask in Prayer, believing, ye shall Receive.” (Matt.21: 21,22)
The Sovereign Lord said: “ASK and is shall be given you; SEEK and ye shall find; KNOCK and it shall be opened unto you: For every-one that asks RECEIVES and he that seeks FINDS and to him that knocks it shall be OPENED.” (Matt.7: 7, 8)
The GOOD NEWS is that Jesus Christ is AVAILABLE and can be reached at a moment's notice. He said: "Lo, I am with you alway until the end of the age," (Matt. 28: 20). The word alway is a measure of distance while always is a measure of time. He will go with us the entire distance to the finish line of our lives!
Jesus has not changed. He has not amended His Word nor lost His LOVE and COMPASSION for us. He will not FAIL us nor forsake us because it is impossible for Him to fail, lie, make a mistake or forget us! How do I know this? He does not change His WILL or His WORD.
Ask yourself: How could an All-Knowing, All-Powerful, Eternal, Righteous and Merciful God somehow change His Will, Purpose and Redemptive Plan for mankind, after having met the Demands of Divine Justice in payment for our sins?
There is no way that Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, "slain from before the foundations of the world", Who was incarnated to suffer, bleed and die to save us from eternal death, would somehow abandon us after having conquered death, hell and the grave!
Many years ago in the USA, a man risked his life to save a three year old girl from a raging house fire that claimed her parents and siblings. The girl was unscathed but the rescuer's arms were severely burned leaving ugly scars. The town folk discussed what to do with the little girl since she had no relatives.Although the rescuer wanted to adopt her, there was an outcry against it because he was an atheist.
The court room was crowded as the judge heard the case. Witness after witness testified that the girl's parents were Christians and that it would be a folly for her to be brought up in the home of an atheist. Finally, the man who had rescued her was called forward. He expressed his desire to adopt the little girl and then he removed his shirt to reveal his scars. The Judge's decision was instant. The man who risked his life to save her should have the right to adopt her.
On our Day of Judgement, Jesus will declare that we belong to Him by revealing His wounds. The wounds in His hands and feet will be the 'Proof of Purchase', proving that He has purchased us through His vicarious Death on the Cross and His Resurrection from the dead! The Bible says: "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Cor.6: 20)
St. Peter states: "For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (lifestyle) received by tradition from your fathers. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." (1 Cor.1: 15, 16)
When the little girl became a teenager and was taken by her father to an art museum, she spotted a painting of Jesus Christ, after being scourged by Roman soldiers. She asked her father who that was and why he was wounded so terribly. He tried in vain to change the subject but she persisted.
Finally he told her the story of Jesus, and she wanted to know more. After hearing it all, she rolled up his sleeve and said, "Dad, that's like you! You we were willing to die for me." He broke into sobs and they both fell to their knees and gave their hearts to Christ!
On the seventieth anniversary of his ordination a Minister of the Gospel, said: "God can't stop loving us!"
