When I was ten years old (1978) my grandfather Mario Kenny came to take my mother and me to the Max Solbrekken Revivial Crusade in the Corona Motor Hotel, Yorkton, Sk.

Because my left hip bone was disintegrated due to Perth's Disease - a disease that turns bones into chalk - I could not walk. My left leg was 1 1/2 inches too short. They had given me special crutches and were outfitting me with a permanent wheelchair.
My grandfather carried me down the steps into the large ballroom at the Corona Hotel. When Pastor Max Solbrekken asked for people who needed a miracle, my Grandfather carried me up to the 'Man of God!'

  When Rev. Solbrekken prayed for me all the severe pains were gone immediately. I could walk, run, jump and do anything a normal 10 year old girl does! And I didn't need the special orthopedic shoes I had to wear! I had spent many weeks and months in the hospital - in traction - since I was seven years old.  We went back to my doctor and he verified the miracle.

Excitedly Dr. Kim said, "Look at these two x-rays. Here's an old one that shows you have total deterioration in your hip bone and here is the one I took today that shows a normal hip!" When I told him what had happened, he rejoiced with me and marked my chart, "HEALED BY FAITH!" Then he spent a long time asking my father Andy Farkis about the miracle in my body.

During my High School years I excelled in all sports, playing softball, ice hockey and winning trophies and first place honors across Saskatchewan, Alberta & British Columbia. Even today at 30, I still play on an ice hockey team and softball team. I have 3 children and am expecting the 4th child soon. I thank God for His miracle in my body, which happened 20 years ago. I am still perfectly well today! All the glory goes to Jesus.

Dear Christian Friends: 

Emmanuel Minos, Norway's most respected  Pentecostal Evangelist died on November 15, 2014. I saw him on May 12, 2013 at Visjon Norge T. V. 10th Anniversary and he told me how much our Ministry had meant to him. Here is a vision everyone should study carefully. It is a real eye opener to a sleeping church!

                                      Forty Years Later, I Must Tell It

An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God in 1968. This evangelist Emanuel Minos had meetings (services) where she lived. I had the opportunity to meet her, and she told me what she had seen. I wrote it down, but thought it to be so unintelligible that I put it in a drawer. Now, over 40 years later, I understand I have to share the vision with others.

The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and credible Christian, with a good reputation among all who knew her. This is what she saw:

"I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I saw the world like a kind of a globe and saw Europe, land by land. I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never before experienced.

She mentioned four waves:

1. "First before Jesus comes and before the Third World War breaks out, there will be a 'détente' like we have never had before. There will be peace between the super powers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. (Remember, that this was in 1968 when the cold war was at its highest.) In this period of peace there will be disarmament in many countries, also in Norway and we are not prepared when it (the war) comes. The Third World War will begin in a way no one would have anticipated—and from an unexpected place.

2. "A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity.

"The important thing will be to have success, to be something; to have material things, things that God never promised us in this way. Churches and prayer houses will be emptier and emptier. Instead of the preaching we have been used to for generations—like, to take your cross up and follow Jesus—entertainment, art and culture will invade the churches where there should have been gatherings for repentance and revival. This will increase markedly just before the return of Jesus.

3. "There will be a moral disintegration that old Norway has never experienced the likes of. People will live together like married without being married. (I do not believe the concept 'co-habitor'? existed in 1968.) Much uncleanness before marriage, and much infidelity in marriage will become the natural (the common), and it will be justified from every angle. It will even enter Christian circles and we pet it—even sin against nature. Just before Jesus' return there will be TV programs like we have never experienced. (TV had just arrived in Norway in 1968.)

"TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. There will not be only one 'station' on TV, it will be filled with 'stations.' (She did not know the word 'channel' which we use today. Therefore she called them stations.) TV will be just like the radio where we have many 'stations,' and it will be filled with violence. People will use it for entertainment. We will see terrible scenes of murder and destruction one of the other, and this will spread in society. Sex scenes will also be shown on the screen, the most intimate things that takes place in a marriage." (I protested and said, "We have a paragraph that forbids this kind of thing.") It will happen, and you will see it. All we have had before will be broken down, and the most indecent things will pass before our eyes.

4. "People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968)there was no such thing as immigration.) They will also come to Scandinavia and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I protested at the issue of immigration. I did not understand it at the time.)

The tears streamed from the old woman's eyes down her cheeks. "I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war." (She saw it in the vision.)

"All that I have seen of war before is only child's play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one's breath. It will cover several continents, America, Japan, Australia and the wealthy nations. The water will be ruined (contaminated?). We can no longer till the soil. The result will be that only a remnant will remain. The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.

"I am so glad that I will not see it, but when the time draws near, you must take courage and tell this. I have received it from God, and nothing of it goes against what the Bible tells.

"The one who has his sin forgiven and has his mind set on Jesus our Savior and Lord, is safe."

Multitudes gathered nightly for the Historic Crusade that 
shook Guntur, Andrah Pradesh, India in May, 1966

      

Hello Dear Friends in Christ,

I went into the archives, to  share with you a little of the historic 1966 Crusade God gave us in Guntur, Andrah Pradesh in southern India. A small Evangelical group led by Pastor Sadhu N. Vandenum and Canadian Missionary Lawson Barbour invited our team to conduct the crusade. Dr. Serala Elisha, leading Physician at the Kugler Lutheran Hospital was a great help also. The majority of the people attending (about 95 %) were Hindus!

BY A MIRACLE OF GOD we were granted permission to conduct the crusade in the Gandhi Park, known as the Freedom Park, as it was used only for Politcal Rallies! In their war for INDEPENDANCE, eight British soldiers were killed in that Park. Due to that fact, nearly a hundred Government Leaders and other VIPs sat on the platform nightly.

 A staggering miracle of deliverance occurred during the opening exercises of the first meeting! While a small group of  little children from the Lutheran Church were singing, a demon possessed woman began screaming, flailing and pulling her hair. She sceamed,"We don't like this man from Canada. We don't like this Jesus he is preaching."

She had not heard me preach. The woman who had been sleeping in the PARK was considered mad (insane) for about ten years made a demonic demonstration and fell  to the earth near the front of the platform. As four men came to carry her to the back of the crowd, God spoke to me to stop them and to cast the demons out of the woman in Jesus' name. 

The four men held her down as I ministered to her. While I was casting out the demons she screamed as they tore her, and a spray of blood struck my white shirt.  She fell like dead. I commanded her to open her eyes, and she took my hand and rose to her feet. She looked all around at the 2,000 people gathered. 

She squared her shoulders and looking directly at me, asked: "WHERE AM I?  WHO ARE YOU? WHERE ARE MY CHILDREN?" 

I answered: "You are in the Freedom Park. I am a man of God preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You had been bound by Satan for many years, but I have liberated you by the power of Jesus Christ's shed blood. I do not know where your children are."

She began to sob, saying: "Oh, now I remember. It was so dark. It was so awful. Where are my children? Where are my children?" The woman had not seen her children for ten years. Many people knew her condition. There were many Government officials and VIPs on the platform and when they saw that miracle, they were awestruck by the immenseness of God's power. Word spread like fire and many more thousands came every evening and Jesus met their needs! 

It grew into an amazing Gospel crusade that stirred that city. A 13 year-old-boy who earlier had an eye removed by surgery, came for prayer with infection in that eye socket. Three days later, Dr. Serala Elisha reported that the infection was gone and he could see out of that empty eye socket. The day following a small eye ball appeared and it continued growing. On the tenth day of the Crusade, Dr. Serala Elisha brought the young lad to the podium and reported before about 15,000 persons that God had indeed performed a creative miracle for that boy.

We were invited back by the City Officials for a second crusade in December, 1966. Again in 1972, God used us tremendously in Guntur, A.P. for His honour and glory! To God be the praise in Jesus' name!  -  Pastor Max Solbrekken

CHAIRMEN'S SPEECHES IN GHANDI PARK, GUNTUR, A.P, INDIA

1. Mr. Chebrolu Hanumaiah, Member, Legislative Assembly & Chairman, Guntur Municipality.

This is a great day for Guntur Town. Many of you people have come to hear Rev. Max Solbrekken speak of Jesus Christ and to witness miracles performed by him in the name of Jesus Christ in curing diseases. Many have witnessed his belief in the Lord and the prayers he offered to cure various diseases of the people.

Mr. Punniah Sastry a prominent citizen of Guntur, and Mr. Chavala Suryanarayana, another VIP of Guntur, both have witnessed that they have been cured and are feeling healthy after the hands of Rev. Max were laid in them, in the name of Jesus Christ. We are very happy for their witness, because they had faith in the healing power of Rev. Max, irrespective of the religions to which they belong.

In the world today about 70 % of the people are Christians – black, jet black or white. Christians all over the world are one nation, just as the Hindus in India are one, and the Muslims and others are one in their respective faiths. However, Christians are more in the world.

There must be something great in Christianity. All Christians have faith in Jesus Christ, as we have seen and witnessed this. I am now standing on this platform not to convert people to Christianity, but I want to tell you what great things faith does in the life of a man. Whoever stands firm on faith in God, God will help such a man.

We see people worshipping stones, wooden images, but theses stones and images, but one accomplishes little or nothing in worshipping them. When a man is stung by a scorpion, sometimes he goes to a man  performing magic; he has faith in the magician and, therefore, perhaps he will be cured.
Prayers to God are offered by Rev. Max in faith in Jesus' name and people are healed.

There are missionaries in this country. There are missionaries in Guntur town serving in different aspects of human life: religious, educational, medical and social. However, we have before us these great men from Canada. They come here not that they have nothing to do there, but they come here because they are consecrated to God and they have love for God's children on this earth.

With this love in them, they are touring all over the world: Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and other countries. Rev. Max has done wonderful service to humanity in all these countries, curing diseases and healing the lame and restoring sight and hearing to hundreds of people.

His visit has been a boon to India, and to Guntur town in particular, and we must all thank him as he does the work of God with great inspiration. Being led of God, they came here on God's work.

If we believe in JESUS CHRIST we will be healed. I therefore, am welcoming him. People go to Tirupathi to see god, because they have faith in that god, they are satisfied.

But, we are here today to hear Rev. Max Solbrekken and see how through faith in Jesus Christ, he is able to heal the sick, the blind, the deaf and dumb, and all other diseases that afflict mankind.

I am happy that these meetings are going on for some days and I trust that all people of Guntur town will attend these meetings and receive the benefit of healing from him.

On the behalf of the citizens of Guntur and on my own behalf I thank him. His prayer with faith in Jesus Christ has healed many people, and I am grateful to him for coming to Guntur.

2. Mr. Nadimpalle Lakshmi Narasimham, Bar-at-Law, Guntur:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am glad to say that we are all very happy to be here in the midst of these missionaries doing God's work, healing people by prayer.

We have many Christians living in Guntur town. For many years American Lutheran missionaries, and then Baptist missionaries ad also Roman Catholic people are living in Guntur, working in educational, medical and other departments.

There are missionaries all over India doing this good work. These missionaries did such wonderful work that they have been elevated to a high position in life and are even working as heads of many institutions and Departments.

We are all brothers. They came to India to help the people of India, and we cannot forget their help. We have actually seen and witnessed miracles. Jesus Christ is a Great Man. When He was living on earth, He performed many miracles and led people from darkness to light.

There is NO MAGIC in what we have seen in Rev. Max healing people in the hundreds. It is not for their personal gain that they came to Guntur.

Their faith in JESUS CHRIST led them here and with this power they are able to heal the sick, the blind, the lame and the suffering humanity. We are really fortunate to have them and are grateful to them for coming to Guntur to do this wonderful service and to witness about Jesus Christ.

3. Mr. Meduri Nageswara Rao, Chairman, Zilla Pasishead, Guntur

The coming of Rev. Max to Guntur is a great boon, not only to Guntur town, but to the district as well, but to the district as well. We must avail ourselves of the opportunity that has been given to us by the visit of these men from Canada.

They came here just yesterday. They are people of faith. They have come to tell us that faith does wonderful things in one's life. These people have great faith and are able to heal people of their sicknesses by prayer and faith. The prayer of Mr. Max has great power. I have seen and witnessed some meetings before where people in faith received the blessing of healing.

People have come here to hear Rev. Max I am sure everyone has come here with a definite purpose, perhaps to get his blessing and to get relief from the ailments he is suffering.

When he is able to heal the sick and the blind, we see in him the image of God, for if he blesses in Jesus name, many diseases are cured. We must receive God's blessing and get diseases cured by faith in Jesus Christ and his prayers.

4. Mr Punniah Pantulu, distinguished citizen of Guntur:

Guntur town has some particular importance these days because of the visit of these missionaries. For some time we have in Guntur, Lutheran missionaries, Baptist, Roman Catholics and others, all of whom gave education, medical help, and social uplift to the people in Guntur.

We have seen these people helping hundreds in healing their sicknesses and infirmities and we cannot forget them and their power of healing. Jesus Christ in His death did this kind of Ministry. He sacrificed His life for the sake of mankind. And it is for this love of Jesus for human beings, Christianity is now spread all over the world, those in darkness have been brought to the light.

Ordinarily, we do not believe in miracles. JESUS CHRIST did miracles, and we read of people being healed. Jesus Christ enlightened people in darkness. These missionaries believe in Jesus Christ and in His Name are doing these marvellous things.

This is not magic, but this is the result of the piety of Rev. Max Solbrekken, as diseases beyond the abilities of doctors are cured by Rev. Max, because of his FAITH in Jesus Christ.

It is for their love for Jesus Christ and for us that they came to Guntur, and we are very fortunate to have them. I hope all of you will be inspired by his faith and by the power of prayer, and that all of you will be benefited by their visit and service.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

We have here Rev. Max and the other missionaries. This is a good opportunity for people in Guntur. Rev. Max came here to pray and heal men and women, and it is our good fortune that he came to Guntur. He came all the way from Canada and Andrah Pradesh and Guntur in particular are very fortunate that he came here. On behalf of the people of Guntur and on my own behalf I thank him for coming to Guntur.

Prayer has great power. Jesus was a great man. The other gods worshipped are Siva, Vishnu and others, and they are also great men. In all these castes and creeds the greatest thing is belief in God.
To Christians, Jesus Christ is God. All people have come here with faith in JESUS CHRIST and witness the wonderful healing power given to Rev. Max by God.

We must all have faith, otherwise our prayers will not be answered. Rev. Max is a great man with great power given him by God to heal the suffering humanity. So this is a prayer meeting where we see FAITH in JESUS, resulting in healing power. I have witnessed this myself.

I saw a young lady we all knew to be MAD (insane) crying and screaming out. When Rev. Max laid his hands on her in Jesus Christ's name she became normal and declared herself to be well and our hearts were thrilled at the wonderful power given unto Rev. Max by Jesus Christ. She had been mad for ten years. So by power of prayer many are healed so we must have faith in Jesus Christ.

Rev. Max comes from Canada, which is a Common Wealth Country like India. So we are all brethren, brethren because his country is sharing in the difficulties and problems of food of our country and is helping us as brethren. Their visit, therefore, has no political significance, but he has come her to tell us about Jesus Christ and the power of FAITH in prayer to Jesus Christ. We should not take him as a stranger. He has great power and he is demonstrating it to us in prayer and faith in Jesus Christ.

On behalf of all of you and on my own behalf, I thank these missionaries, and now Rev. Max will start his program.

     JESUS CHRIST stated: “The Thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to Steal, and to Kill and to Destroy: I am come that they may have LIFE and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd; the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.” (John 10: 10, 11)

     The God whom I serve is a good God and a loving, benevolent, caring, merciful and life giving Creator and Heavenly Father! His heart yearns to bless us all. He has no pleasure in the death of anyone, therefore He has NO pleasure in the sickness, weakness, pain, poverty or sinfulness of any human being. He sees the sparrow fall to the ground and has compassion on the lowliest of His creation!

     His compassion upon Adam and Eve who had transgressed greatly against His holy and almighty Person is magnanimous. Why didn't He just wipe them out and begin all over again? Why didn't He cage the slimy, despicable Liar called the Devil? Why did He allow the wily old Satan to keep on scheming, perverting and destroying everything he touched?

    The Almighty, Eternal God and Creator of all things is also True and Perfect in Righteousness, Fairness and Justice! He forgave Adam and Eve immediately by putting into force His plan of Salvation by initiating the Sacrificial System. The innocent animal which Adam had given a name to and had undoubtedly learned to love in his care of the Garden, would be slain as a substitute to atone for their sins!

                   JESUS CHRIST: GOD IN HUMAN FLESH!

     God Himself performed the procedure to save Adam and Eve, using the skins of the innocent animal to cover their naked bodies while its blood was shed as an atonement for their souls! In His great love, He drove them from the Garden so that they would not eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life and live forever in their sinful state!

     He instructed them to regularly offer sacrifices of an innocent animal, so He could keep them in His fold until He would send the Deliverer - His Only begotten Son - to meet the Demands of Divine Justice and satisfy a Thrice Holy God!

     His Eternal Son, Who is in the Bosom of the Father, would be incarnated (God in human flesh) to pay the Penalty for Adam and Eve's sin and that of the entire human race -past, present and future - through the sacrifice of himself, thus purchasing our eternal Salvation!

      Jesus of Nazareth -True God from eternity and True Man by His virgin birth – came to earth as God's Paschal Lamb. He is the Propitiation for our sins, which means the covering, mercy seat, expiation and satisfaction. God was satisfied with the sacrificial death of His own SON for the sins of Adam, Eve and all of us!

      The Bible states: “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous: And He is the PROPITIATION for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2: 1-2);

      “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (1 John 4: 10).

      Oh, the love, mercy and grace of the Eternal God in giving of Himself, when He gave His only begotten Son to bear away our sins and carry our sicknesses and diseases to the Cross thereby purchasing our Eternal salvation by the sacrifice of Himself.

      Is it any wonder, that we love Him, believe Him and trust Him? No-one else can even come close to be compared to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Saviour, Master and God!

     JESUS – His name means the Salvation of God. Yeshua means forgiveness, peace, joy, healing, health, deliverance and eternal life! His name is the Salvation of God! His name means whatever Salvation entails!

      He is the greatest, truest, purest, most holy. He is ETERNAL LIFE and there is NO fear, sin, sickness, disease or lack in the Kingdom of God! He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! There is NO other Way to God. He is the Truth and the ONLY Truth. He is the Life and the Giver of Life because He is LIFE!

                           SATAN IS A LIAR, THIEF & MURDERER!

     SATAN came to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus Christ came that we might have life and have it more abundantly! (John 10: 10). Jesus came to bless, not to curse! To forgive and not to judge and to deliver those who are bound!

     The Bible says: “For God sent not His Son to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3: 17); “And if any man hear My voice, and believe not, I judge him not, for I am not come to judge the world , but to save the world.” (John 12: 47)

      “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power Who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.” (Acts 10: 38)

      “...For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the Devil.” (1 John 3: 8).

     “For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also partook of the same; that through Death He might Destroy him that had the power of death, that is the Devil and Deliver them who through fear of death were all their life time subject to bondage.” (Heb. 2: 14)

                      WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST!

    We are Ambassadors for Christ. We are representatives of the Kingdom of God. We are Ministers of the New Covenant. Our duty is to do His will and to do what He did. He is our Example and Role Model. He came to earth to give life and that more abundantly. We must follow in His footsteps!

      St. Paul stated: “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the Ministry of Reconciliation. That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation.

       “Now then we are Ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin (sin offering), that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Cor. 5: 18-21) Amen.

WE NEED MORE MIRACLES: NOT LESS

    There is hope and healing for hurting, sick and suffering people. There is forgiveness and redemption for  lost and dying souls. There is deliverance for fearful, oppressed and discouraged individuals! There is peace for tormented victims of sexual abuse, drug addiction and alcoholism. There is freedom for those enslaved by pornography, homosexuality and gambling!

      And, yes, there is victory for depressed, sorrowing and defeated children of God who have become overwhelmed by the burdens of life and the onslaughts of the Evil One! There is a way back home to our Heavenly Father for those who have fallen into sin, drifted from the straight and narrow, and are hurting spiritually!

                             THE CHURCH: REFUGE FOR WOUNDED!

      The Church is a place of healing for hurting people. It is a hospital for the spiritually wounded who been hurt by the lies of  New Age advocates, false Eastern Religions and Politically Correct clergy! It is a House of Refuge and a Haven of rest for the guilt ridden casualties of divorce, broken homes and abortion!

     To get our spiritual bearings and to understand the important role the Church has to play in society, all we need to do is look at the life of Jesus, our perfect example! 

   The Bible says: "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

     "And His fame went throughout all Syria: And they brought unto Him all people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them. And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judea, and from beyond Jordan." (Matt. 4: 23-25)

        JESUS of Nazareth went into ALL their cities and villages teaching in ALL their synagogues and HEALING ALL their sicknesses and ALL their diseases. They brought to Jesus ALL who were sick and diseased with ALL manner of diseases, torments, lunatics and those who were bed ridden; and He HEALED them ALL.  And ALL who touched Jesus and ALL whom He touched were healed!

                              STRETCH FORTH THINE HAND TO HEAL!

     When the Early Church were persecuted by the Authorities and forbidden to teach or preach in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, they answered: "Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken to you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." (Acts 4: 19, 20)

     When they were released from prison, they reported to the company of believers what had happened. "And when they heard that, they lifted up their VOICE to God with ONE ACCORD, and said, Lord, Thou art God, which has made Heaven and earth, and the sea and all that in them is...

    "And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto Thy Servants, that with all boldness they may speak Thy WORD, by stretching forth hand to HEAL; and that SIGNS and WONDERS may be done by the Name of Thy Holy Child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was SHAKEN where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke the Word of God with boldness...

     "And with great POWER gave the apostles witness of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great GRACE was upon them all." (Acts 4: 24-33
                                   MORE MIRACLES: NOT LESS!

     His disciples had walked with Him for three years and seen His compassion, heard His powerful teaching and preaching. They knew His heart and love for His Father in Heaven and His unwavering faith and dedication to His Mission. They sensed the urgency in His voice and prayer life. They had seen His power over the elements, evil spirits and even death.

    They realized the great value HEALING MIRACLES have in attracting people to the Gospel. Jesus taught in the synagogue without much attention, until He performed miracles upon the demon possessed. They knew His desire to minister to NEEDY people. They had witnessed the surge of multitudes listening to His message and repenting of their sins after He had performed miracles of healing on the sick and suffering!

     When Peter and John brought healing to the crippled man at the temple's Beautiful Gate, five thousand men had responded to their appeal to receive Christ. Do you think they would stop at that juncture? Would the threat of persecution turn them back? Would they react like many of today's pussy cat, milquetoast preachers? Definitely not! They were tough, hardened men of God with faith in the promises of Jesus!

      The majority of this generation's preachers have scaled back on miracles and the supernatural power of God to liberate the human race. They have discontinued the prayer meeting  for man-made programs. They have discounted the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and replaced them with the philosophies of men. Some have substituted flashing lights and electronically generated SMOKE for the glory of God and the FIRE of the Holy Ghost. 
    And in many cases, some of these so-called men of God have given in to the culture of political correctness and have acquiesced under pressure to fit into the company of lukewarm, half-baked, back-slidden, popularity-driven clergymen.

    One of the greatest threats to the Church in this generation is the APATHY and lack of concern regarding the PURITY of the WORD of GOD that is gradually being lost in many denominations. You may ask: "What is driving this watering down of God's Word and the destroying of the Church"?  

                            SATAN WANTS TO DESTROY THE CHURCH!

    Satan is the destroyer and enemy of God and man and is utilizing every weapon in his arsenal to achieve his goals, but cannot and will not be able to do so because he is an eternally defeated enemy. The shed blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ has decimated his power over those who are secure in the Body of Christ!

    Successive NEW translations of the Bible deftly corrupt the Original Autographs in seeking to erode the Deity of Jesus Christ, His Virgin Birth and His Resurrection! The work of theologians who use what they call 'Higher Criticism' are largely to blame.

   My message to those imposters is found in Hebrews 4:12; "For the Word of God is quick (alive) and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

     O’ PUNY MAN: Know who you are! Stop trying to judge God's Word. We do not judge the Holy Bible. God's Word judges us! Here is another warning to all pin-head theologians:"Every Word of God is PURE. He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add not thou unto His Words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a LIAR." (Prov.30: 5, 6)

     Through MOSES, God warned those who change His WORD: "Ye shall not add to the Word which I command you, neither shall ye DIMINISH ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you; What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: Thou shall not ADD thereto, nor DIMINISH from it." (Duet.4: 2; 12: 32)

     St. Peter said: "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 1: 21). And St. Paul declared: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."(2 Tim. 3: 16)

                        JESUS WARNS: DON'T CHANGE MY WORD!

     Here is a WARNING from Jesus Christ Himself: "For I testify unto every man that hears the Words of the Prophecy of this book. If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

      “And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book." (Rev. 22: 18, 19)

     St. Paul said: "But though we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so now I say again; if any man preach any other Gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be cursed." (Galatians 1: 8.9)

    This very serious statement was made by the man who was carried up into Heaven and shown things which he was not allowed to reveal. He stated that if AN ANGEL or if he personally returned to that church preaching something different than the pure Gospel which he had preached to them, let him be accursed!

     Another Enemy of God and the Church of Jesus Christ is the diabolical teaching of SYNCRETISM which is invading the Body of Christ! Syncretism is defined as the amalgamation or attempted amalgamation of different religions, cultures, or schools of thought, into the Church of the Living God.

     The very worst syncretism is a new doctrine called 'CHRISLAM' that has mixed Christianity and Islam in a number of Evangelical churches in the USA. It is a diabolical doctrine spawned in Hell itself. What part of Jesus' words do those 'dumkuffs' not understand?

    Jesus stated: "I AM THE THE GOOD SHEPHERD, AND KNOW MY SHEEP...AND I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR THE SHEEP." (John 10:14,15); "I AM THE DOOR: BY ME, IF ANY MAN ENTER IN, HE SHALL BE SAVED." (John 10: 9-10) 

     Jesus warned: "For a good tree brings not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes." (Luke 6: 43, 44); 
     "I am the LIVING BREAD which came down from Heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my FLESH, which I will give for the life of the world." (Luke 6:51); "I am the Way, and the Truth and the Life. No man comes unto the FATHER but by Me." (John 14: 6)

                            MARANATHA: THE LORD RETURNS!

    ISLAM teaches that Jesus Christ did not die, but that Allah changed his facial appearance and made another man look like Jesus of Nazareth. Further, they teach that Jesus was taken up to Heaven and chastised by Allah for saying that He is the Son of God and that He will return in the last days and declare that He is only a prophet lesser than Mohammed.
     They teach that their Jesus will lead a jihad to kill those who believe in the Christian's Jesus, and that all must convert to Islam or be killed. Have you heared such distortions? That is disgusting, untruthful and stupid ignorant lies. It is RANK BLASPHEMY!

   St. Paul stated: "If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema. Maranatha." (1 Cor.16:22). Maranatha is Aramaic as an imperative: marana-tha meaning "our Lord come" or as an indicative: 'maran-atha, meaning "our Lord is come".

     The words Anathama (suspended) and Maranatha (our Lord comes) used in concert means that a curse as well as a  blessing will be in operation at the time of Christ's return, When He sets up His Kingdom on earth two things will happen: Those who have given their hearts and lives to Christ will be blessed with eternal life, but those who have rejected Him will be cursed with damnation!

     Why did St. Paul use - without translation - the Aramaic formula Maranatha in a Greek letter to Corinth, where the Aramaic language was not in use? Was it because Maranatha was a fixed formula and no doubt a well known expression in the liturgy of  the primitive Church in Palestine?         Many theologians believe that from Palestine it passed into Greek Christendom without translation in fashion similar to 'Amen' and 'Hosanna'. The formula Anathama Maranatha, is in fact, the exclamation of the 'Approaching Divine Judgment'!

    ST. JOHN declared: "Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: for he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” (2 John 9-11)

      Here is the clincher: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby KNOW ye the Spirit of God:

    “Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesses NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already is it in the world.

                                                   WHAT DOES THE MEAN?

     What did the ‘man of God’ mean by these words: “Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of God?” There are more than seven billion people alive today and every one of us have come in the flesh, but when God came down among us in the Person of Jesus Christ, that was the Miracle of the INCARNATION.

     Every person that believes that Jesus Christ is God the Son and that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His precious blood for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead three days later, are God’s children and members of the Body of Christ.

      Those who DO NOT confess that Jesus Christ is the incarnated Son of God are not saved and will not be saved unless they repent of their sins and invite our blessed Saviour, the Lord of life, into their hearts.

     The Holy Bible declares to all believers in Jesus Christ: “Ye are of God little children and have overcome them because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4: 1- 4); "Hereby we KNOW that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whoso shall confess that JESUS is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.

   “And we have known and believed the LOVE that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

   “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out all fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. We LOVE Him because He first loved us. (1 John 4:13-19)

                                              OUR FATHER GIVES MUCH MORE!

     Let me close this paper with these powerful Words of invitation from Jesus Christ: "Ask and is shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that ask receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

   "Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread will he give him a stone (something useless)? Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a serpent (something dangerous)? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how MUCH MORE shall your Father which is in Heaven, give good gifts to them that ask Him?" (Matt.7: 7-11)

      The Bible states: "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly ABOVE ALL that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." (Eph.3: 20)

       Here is an awesome promise from God’s Holy Word:“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hear us, whatever we ask, we KNOW that we have that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” (1 John 5: 14, 15)

      Our Heavenly Father stands ready to pour out His blessed Holy Spirit upon His Church again and again, as we open our heart's door to Him. He will give us from His storehouse: More love, More Joy, More peace, More Compassion, more Health, more Finances, more Miracles and more Souls brought into His Kingdom! Amen.
