PLEASING GOD
RATHER THAN MAN

"That we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet (qualified) to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light." (Col.1: 10-12)
In this great Epistle, St. Paul has drawn back the curtain to let us see a little of the grandeur of the Purposes of God in Christ Jesus!
The human ignorance of things eternal which had for so long eluded us are made clear through the amazing, incomprehensible Redemption provided for us through Christ's vicarious death on the cross and His glorious resurrection from the dead.
AMAZED AT GOD'S GRACE!
AMAZED AT GOD'S GRACE!
We stand amazed at the perfection of the operation of God when we behold the incomparable handiwork of God in creating the vast solar system, the billions of stars, constellations and heavenly bodies in the ever expanding universe.
That, however, is a mere nothing to compare with the execution of God's will in our eternal salvation through the incarnation of Christ the Son, when God became a man to suffer, bleed and die for the sins of the entire world and rise from the dead for our justification!
Human tongue has been unable and will never be able to fully express the Gospel Story in its utter inexplicable and other worldly syllables, to the praise, honour and glory of Him Who died so that we could live and rose from the dead so that we poor earthlings could share in His Kingdom as kings and priests unto God!
The great Apostle's desire for us was that we "might walk worthy of the Lord", and that is my Number One goal in life! That we might please Him in all things, be fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. By Him, Christ Jesus, we are made partakers of the inheritance of the saints in Light!
Here is the Key to our great inheritance: "Who (God) hath delivered us from the power of Darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son: in Whom we have Redemption through His Blood, even the forgiveness of sins." (Col. 1:13, 14) The vast majority of people have only seen the meek and gentle Jesus Who was born in a stable, walked among men, teaching, preaching, healing the sick, dying on the cross and rising from the dead. They have not seen him as God the Son Who, before His torturous death for us all, was the Creator of the universe!
St. Paul so brilliantly brings this out: "Who is the image of the of the invisible God (if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father), firstborn (the first in rank) of every creature: (I am the alpha and omega, the First and the Last).
FOR HIM, BY HIM & IN HIM!
"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.
"And He is the head of the body, the Church: Who is the beginning (He is the Creator Who was there before anything was created), the firstborn from the dead (the first to die and be raised, never to die again); that in all things He might have the preeminence." (Col.1:15-18)
He is our PEACE! He is our LOVE! He is our JOY! He is our STRENGTH! He is all we need! The Holy Scripture says: "And having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things to Himself; by Him I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
"And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled. In the body of His Flesh, through death, to present you holy and unreproveable in His sight." (Col.1:20-22)

MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY!
Pleasing God rather than man! Going against the grain; Swimming up stream. God's Word against man's ideology, political correctness and Satan's deceiving, adulterous and perverted anti-Christ purposes!
Goodbye devil! the Light is come and the darkness is over. The Day Star shines. Satan's power is destroyed in our lives. He has no jurisdiction over us! Christ rules in the lives of those who love Him and worship Him. Satan's dominion has come to an end through Jesus Christ's perfect Redemption.
The Blood prevails forever! Satan has been eternally defeated. Forever Lives King Jesus, my blessed Redeemer, Lord, Saviour, Master: This true God and Eternal Life. (John 17:3) Amen.
God's word states: "Jesus said unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him Who sent Me, and to finish His work." (John 4: 34);
"How can ye believe that ye receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God alone." (John 5: 44)
"For I came from Heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me." (John 6:38)
Jesus Promised: "At that day ye shall know that I am in My Father, and ye in Me and I in you. He that hath My commandments and doeth them, he is it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.
"...If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and we will come and make our abode with him." (John 14: 20,1, 23)
The Holy Bible says:"But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that God is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." (Heb.11: 6)

WALKING WORTHILY UNTO THE LORD
St. Paul makes it plain that we please God when we have confidence and faith in Him and His Word, because no man can please Him without Faith!
Again he states that it means that we are fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. How are we able to do that? He gives us His glorious power, unto all Patience and Long suffering with Joyfulness.
By the Grace of God, we are able to do it through Faith, Love, Worship, Prayer, Testimony, Preaching, the Ministry Gifts and Gifts of the Holy Spirit and through the shed BLOOD of Jesus Christ! It can be done by the help of God.
My personal goal in life is to please God the Father through Jesus Christ my personal Lord and Saviour Who has redeemed from the curse of the Law, forgiven all my sins and filled me with His Holy Spirit and has healed me and keeps me health and strength!
My future for time and eternity is secure with Him for Jesus Christ Who is within me is Himself Eternal Life and I am hid with Christ in God! (Col. 1: 1-3). Thank you Jesus Christ, My Lord and my God! Amen.
