Rev. Max Solbrekken led Alfred and Laura Ellis & family to Christ in 1970 at the Edmonton Revival Centre. Laura passed away some years ago, but Alfred kept living and serving the Lord with great enthusiasm. He was 96 years old and an active soul winner for Jesus Christ. We will all miss him at the House of Prayer on Hiway 623, south of New Sarepta. As a Military mechanic on Canadian Aircraft in WW11, he was well able to service our Sunday School buses. A precious man of God! He testified, "I hadn't looked in a Bible for 46 years, but took my mother to Max Solbrekken's church to receive a healing and slept through his preaching. When he was giving the altar call, I awakened and was so convicted of my sins, that I ran to the altar and gave my life to Jesus Christ."

May God continue to bless the many members of his family, who are still serving the Lord!
