Dr. Max Solbrekken made history as the first Protestant Minister to preach the Gospel of  Jesus Christ in Roman Catholic Malta in 1,000 years in December 1973, with the blessing of His Grace Michael Gunzi Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church in Malta and  Valetta's Chief of Police Force, Enoch Tonna. Shortly thereafter, the 1,000 year law enacted by the Knights of Columbus was abrogated and freedom of worship passed into Law. To God be the glory great things He hath done. Max Solbrekken says. "I love the Maltese people."
