Pastor Max Solbrekken Prayed on Oct 26, 2006 . Jesus Gave Me New Knees. My Doctor said, Call the Hospital. Cancel the Operation! Rigmor Sund on Visjon Norge TV June 3, 2012
RIGMOR SUND, NORWAY
AMAZING MIRACLE, OCT 26, 2006
After suffering excruciating pains and waiting for surgery for a long time, Rigmor Sund received replacements in both knees after prayer. Her doctor was overjoyed and said, “Call the Hospital immediately and cancel the operation.”
Rigmor Sund’s testimony over Visjon Norge TV on June 3, 2012:
My surgery was scheduled for November 7, 2006 at the Hospital in Kristiansund. I lived in northern Norway but was staying in Eide which is 30 kilometers from Molde in Romsdal. When my knees began causing me excruciating pains, I was given an MRI which showed both knee caps were worn out and I needed complete replacements. Naturally, I was shocked because I had no desire for the operation. I could no longer drive the car and the pain was getting worse
I had two good Lutheran
friends who encouraged me!
I had two good Lutheran
friends who encouraged me!
Then something wonderful happened. My friends told me that Max Solbrekken would be preaching in Molde on October 26 and that he prayed for the sick. My heart leaped within me with expectation. My friends said that would gladly drive me to the meeting.
The meeting was anointed of God and when Max Solbrekken called for the sick to come forward, I answered the call. When he laid his hands upon me and prayed, I did not feel anything special happening there and then. And when we drove home we agreed it was a very fine meeting.
I always dreaded getting into bed because of the pain I endured if I only moved myself a little. I had to use both my hands to lift my legs onto the bed, as I was unable to get into bed normally, and if I moved during the night the sharp pain of bone rubbing against bone would awaken me.
That night I slept till morning and when I awakened, I had brand new knees!
That night I slept till morning and when I awakened, I had brand new knees!
I was able to walk, run up and down the steps, drive my car and kneel in prayer! I had been healed. Jesus had touched me and I was filled with joy. By Max Solbrekken’s prayer, the Lord had come into me with His healing power.
I went immediately to see my doctor to tell him that I was healed and did not need the operation. All my medical reports are in a docket at the Hospital and I am as free as a bird!
I praise God and thank His servant Max Solbrekken for his faithfulness in praying for me!!! My testimony went far and wide for Jesus in EIDE and district, but I was unable to contact Max Solbrekken until I saw him on Visjon Norge TV on May 31, 2012. I attended his crusade and told him the news. How I thank JESUS for His miracle for me and His sacrifice on the cross for us all! Amen.

GOD’S PROMISES ARE AVAILABLE!
By
Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
President Abraham Lincoln said, “Believing
everyone is dangerous but believing no-one is very dangerous.” One of the greatest problems some people have
is TRUST. It seems like doubts are inbred into the human psyche.
Although some are gullible and believe anything or anybody, many others struggle
with the doubt factor. As believers in Jesus Christ, we move out of the human
sense realm into the spiritual arena of faith in the Eternal God and His
unchanging Word, amazing Grace and Eternal Life!
The Bible says: “God is not a man,
that He should lie; neither the son of a man that He should repent (change):
hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken and shall He not make
it good?” (Num.23:19).
To become a Christian, one must believe
the Holy Scriptures are true. We must believe that God sent His
only begotten
Son into this world to atone for our sins. We must believe that
our Heavenly Father accepted the vicarious death of Jesus Christ as a propitiation
for our sins. We must believe that Jesus Christ was raised from
the dead for our justification! (Rom. 3: 25; I John 2:2; 4:10)
“Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to Him; but
for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up
Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offenses, and raised
again for our justification.” (Rom. 4: 23-25)
Jesus said: “If thou canst believe
all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway
the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe;
help Thou mine unbelief.” (Mark 9:23, 24)
Repeatedly, Jesus spoke about the importance
of believing the Word of God and that He was the Son of God and the Jewish
Messiah which was prophesied should come! Speaking to Philip, Jesus said:
“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and
the Father in Me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the
Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.
“Believe Me that I am in the Father,
and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the
very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me,
the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do
also; because I go unto My Father.” (John 14: 10-12)
WHATSOEVER YE ASK
IN MY NAME!
JESUS
SAID: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.
If ye love Me keep y commandments.
“And I will pray the Father and He shall
give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; even the Spirit
of Truth: whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither
knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you and shall be in you.”
(John 14: 13-20)
“Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the
everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not,
neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding.
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them
that have no might, He increaseth strength…But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they
shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” (Is. 40: 28-31)
God’s promises are still available today
because He is still available. He is “the same yesterday, today and forever.”
(Matt.11:28). He invites: “Come now, and let us reason together saith the Lord:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red
like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Is. 1: 18);
“Ho, everyone that thirsteth, come ye
to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy and eat; yea come, buy
wine and milk without money and without price. Seek ye the Lord while He may be
found, call ye upon Him while He is near.
“Let the wicked forsake his way and the
unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord and He will have
mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither
are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the
earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher that your thoughts.
“So shall My Word be that goeth out of My
mouth; it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I
please, and it shall prosper in the thing where unto I sent it.” (Is. 55:
1: 6,7-11)
“Bless the Lord: O my soul: and all that it is
within Me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all
His benefits: Who forgiveth all
thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life
from destruction; Who crowneth
thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that
thy youth is renewed like the eagles.” (Psalm 103:1-5)
BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED!
The Bible states: “Surely He hath borne our sicknesses
(kholee, heb), and carried our pains (makob-heb): yet we
did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for
our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our
peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid upon Him the
iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened
not His mouth: He is brought as a Lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before
her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.
“Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him: He hath put Him to grief: when Thou
shalt make His soul an offering for SIN, He shall see His
seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in
His hand. He shall see the travail of His soul and shall be
satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify many;
for He shall bear their iniquities.” (Is. 3: 4-11)
The Son of God was incarnated (God in
human flesh) and shed His pure and sinless BLOOD on the cross to redeem a lost world
that had rejected God. He took our place on the cross as our Substitute, died
for our sins and rose from the dead for our justification! Glory to His Holy
and matchless Name!
Almighty God saw the untold sufferings
and pains that Jesus bore for us and He was satisfied that His only begotten Son
had met the righteous demands of Divine Justice and fully atoned for the sins
of sinful mankind, past, present and future!
SALVATION THROUGH JESUS’
BLOOD!
In
His great Mercy, Almighty God bared His mighty arm to save, redeem and deliver
us from the power of Satan, sin, fear, sickness and disease. Through His abundant
Grace, our Heavenly Father reached out with Love and Compassion to sinful mankind
by giving His only begotten Son as His paschal Lamb to atone for our sins, by
the offering of Himself.
Through
His vicarious death on the Cross and glorious resurrection from the dead, Jesus
Christ fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy of the Coming Redeemer! This prophecy
referred to Christ’s victory over Satan, which God delivered to the devil, after
the sin and fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
“And I will put enmity between thee and the
woman, and between thy seed and Her SEED; It (seed of the
woman) shall bruise (crush) thy Head, and thou
shalt bruise His heel.” (Gen. 3:15). God promised to send the Deliverer to Destroy
Satan’s power. The Deliverer would be born of a VIRGIN, meaning that God would send
own His Son, incarnated (God in human flesh). In the battle the Deliverer’s heel
would be bruised, referring to Christ’s death on the cross and subsequent resurrection.
“Therefore
the Lord Himself shall give you a SIGN: behold, a VIRGIN shall conceive and bear
a son, and shall call His name Emmanuel. For unto us a child is born,
unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder:
and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Is. 9: 6)
The child is born but the Son is given.
The Son was not born because He was God’s Son from Eternity, who was incarnated
to be the Saviour of the World through His virgin birth, atoning death and
glorious resurrection from the dead!
JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE!
Our Saviour said: “The thief (Satan)
cometh not but for to steal, kill and destroy. I am come that ye might have
life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10: 10): “Jesus said unto her, I am
the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die…”
(John 11: 2, 26)
“And Jesus said unto them, I AM the Bread
of Life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me
shall never thirst. All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that
cometh to Me, I will in wise cast out. And this is the will of Him that sent Me,
that everyone that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up at the last day.
“No man can come unto Me, except the Father
which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Verily,
verily I say unto you. He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life, I am the
Bread of Life.
“I
am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven: if any man eat of this bread,
he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will
give for the life of the world. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I
say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood,
ye have no life in you.
“Whoso eateth My flesh and drinketh My
blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh
is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and
drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in Him.
“He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My
blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in Him. As the Living Father hath sent Me, and I
live by the Father, so He that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me. This is that bread which came down from Heaven: not
as your fathers did eat manna and are
dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever.” (John 6: 35-58)
JESUS IS THE BREAD OF LIFE!
What did Jesus mean by these statements? He
was declaring that He was the answer to all their physical and spiritual needs because
He was their promised Messiah.
He
was giving His flesh to be beaten, scourged and crucified for the Healing of
our physical bodies and His blood for the forgiveness of our sins! On the eve of His crucifixion Jesus ordained
the Holy Communion Service:
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread,
and blessed it, and break it and gave it to His disciples, and said, Take, eat;
this is My body. And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to the
disciples, and said, Take eat; This is My body. And He took the cup, and gave thanks,
and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is My BLOOD of the
New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matt. 26:
26-28)
St. Paul wrote: “For I have received
of the Lord that which I also delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night
in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given
thanks, He brake it, and said, Take eat: this is My body, which is broken for you:
this do in remembrance of Me.
“After the same manner also
He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new Testament in
My Blood: this do ye, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread,
and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till He come.
“Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread,
and drink this cup unworthily, shall be guilty of the Body and Blood of the
Lord. But let a man examine Himself, so let him eat of that
bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily,
eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” (1
Cor.11: 23-29)
WHAT DOES ALL
THIS MEAN?
The Roman Catholic Church teaches the doctrine
of transubstantiation, which means: "the change of the whole substance of bread into the
substance of the Body of Christ and of the whole substance of wine into the
substance of his Blood.” This of course, is wrong. If you were to put the
bread under a microscope after the priest had gone through his ritual of
turning it into flesh, it would still be bread.
They have used a purely spiritual procedure
and turned it into nothing! The doctrine of transubstantiation is a Roman
Catholic man-made doctrine. The Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion is a sacrament.
When we partake of the wine (cup) we receive
by faith what His blood has done in forgiving our sins. It is a witness to the
truth that Jesus Christ shed His perfect and holy Blood for our Redemption. The
bread represents the body of Christ that was beaten and scourged for the healing
of our bodies. We receive the emblems of Christ’s broken body and shed blood by
faith in Him! Hallelujah!
GOD HAS GREAT
COMPASSION!
With great anticipation our Lord waits for our cry for Help! He desires
to fellowship with us and answer our prayers. He wants to help us! He is filled
with compassion to meet the needs of His children!
Jesus said: “Come unto Me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will
give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly
in heart and ye shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My
burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28, 29)
Wherever there are troubles, problems and difficulties, you will find Jesus
Christ forgiving, restoring and healing. He is the Great Physician and Healer
of broken hearts, wounded spirits, and weak, diseased bodies!
“When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed
with devils: and He cast out spirits with His Word, and healed all that were
sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias he prophet, saying,
Himself took out infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” (Matt. 8: 16,
17)
“Who His own Self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we,
being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: By Whose Stripes we were
healed.” (1 Peter 2: 24)
The old Gospel Song says, ‘Standing
somewhere in the shadows you’ll find Jesus. He’s the only one who cares and
understands. Standing somewhere in the shadows you will find Him, and you’ll
know Him by the nail prints in His hands!’
In the Holy Scriptures we see Him being
moved by Compassion: “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching
in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom and healing every
disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was Moved with
Compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep
having no shepherd.” (Matt.9: 35, 36)
POWER, LOVE & A SOUND MIND!
God
has three wonderful gifts for each of us who love His Son! The Bible states:
“For God hath not given us the spirit of Fear, but of Power
and Love and a Sound Mind.” (2 Tim. 1:7).
FEAR is an evil spirit that Satan uses to steal, kill and destroy! He works
in the world of darkness, killing and thievery. He is the world’s greatest Thief.
He steals peace and joy and health from people that he torments. He is a Tormenter
extra ordinaire. He binds his victims with lies, distortion, unrealities and painful
sicknesses and diseases.
He is, however, no match for our wonderful Jesus Christ, who has stripped
him and decimated his kingdom, exposing him and binding his power! The Bible
states:
“Forasmuch then as the children are
partakers of flesh and blood, He (Jesus) also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through Death
He might Destroy him (Satan) who had the power of death, that is
the Devil; and Deliver them who through fear of
death were all their lifetimes, subject to bondage.” (Heb. 2: 14, 15)
Christ’s vicarious, substitutionary death on Golgotha has stripped the
devil of his power to run roughshod over believers in Christ. The Bible says: “Submit
yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will FLEE from you.” (James 4:7).
For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind! God has given us power
over the devil, sin, sickness, fear and all evil!
JESUS said: “I beheld Satan as
lightning fall from Heaven. Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents
and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by
any means hurt you.” (Luke 10: 18, 19)
Jesus has given us the POWER of God’s Word: “It is written”
defeated the devil in Jesus’ wilderness temptation. His Word still works today
to defeat and destroy Satan’s Evil work. The POWER of Jesus’ precious Blood
cripples the Enemy! Demons scream in fear when the Blood of Jesus Christ is
applied and used against them.
The POWER of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God and works
miracles when used in conjunction with the Word of God. The Bible says: “How
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power: who went
about doing Good and Healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was
with Him.” (Acts 10: 38)
The Second gift that God has given us is LOVE! God is love.
We have God’s love because His gifts operate by love. We have God’s love
because we have Jesus and the Holy Spirit, therefore God fills our hearts with
gratefulness to Him.
With His great love comes His Peace that floods our souls and flows over
to others. The Third gift He has given us is a SOUND MIND, which is the mind of
Christ! The Bible states: “Let this Mind be in you which was also in Christ
Jesus…” (Phil. 2: 5). The mind of Christ is a Pure mind, a Righteous mind
thinking godly thoughts, an Honest mind and a Compassionate and a settled, Clear-
thinking mind!
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2
Peter 1: 4)
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is
your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Rom. 12: 1,2)
Our prayer should be: ‘Cleanse me O Lord and give me the Mind of Christ
and the Faith of God to always do Thy will and be a blessing to my fellowman’. Amen.
