Is society out of control and are the demons of hell doing double duty to ensure our destruction?
Will our youth be forced to listen to public school teachers informing them that the immoral and unnatural lifestyle of homosexuality - as practiced in Sodom and Gomorrah - is a normal and alternative lifestyle?
I pray that we can stop this trend! If we don’t, there is a danger that our legal system (judges) will not only give ‘a perverted society’ the right to teach these perversions, but will sanction their actions of imposing their social sexual advances on the unsuspecting with impunity!
Are we destined to eventually be controlled by maniacs who murder, kill and maim at will or is the trend eventually going to change for the better?
Some time ago, Dr. Andre Masters, a well known psychiatrist, declared that the civilized societies of North America and Europe are fighting a losing battle with mental health.
A popular TV soap opera, The Young And The Restless, certainly depicts a sordid generation of hedonistic young adults with a multiplicity of problems, hurts and hatreds.
“The increasing rates of suicide, especially among teenagers and young adults, and of homicide, child abuse, sexual and violent crimes, pornographic exploitation, and drug and alcohol abuse, are all symptoms of a very sick society”, he said.
Not long ago, I chanced to view a portion of a TV episode featuring martial arts and sword fighting. The violence was disgusting and nauseating with heads being decapitated and split in two.
Former President Bill Clinton lobbied hard for legislation forcing manufacturers to install the ‘V CHIP’ into all TV sets. This gives parents control over what their children watch on TV.
IT’S NO WONDER!
With our television and video movies becoming more and more violent, perverted and depraved, it is no wonder people are losing their minds and doing wicked deeds.
Just think of the 16 or possibly more Green River murders in Washington State, a decade ago! Bringing it closer to home, the recent gruesome murders which have taken place in Alberta in recent years.
Or the grisly account revealed by Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole of how they allegedly killed hundreds of people and ate human flesh.
The recent tragic school shootings at Columbine and Lyttleton in the USA gives credence to the stated fact that our society is out of control!
To say nothing of the many unsolved murders of young women in Vancouver, Edmonton and other Canadian cities!
Kids clown, Democratic political activist and homosexual pervert, John Wayne Gacy, sodomized, killed and buried 33 young men on his property.
And more recently, the horrible exploits of Jeffrey Dahlmer - another sodomist pervert - lured young homosexuals to his apartment, where they engaged in sodomistic sexual orgies, before drugging and killing them!
Later, he dismembered their bodies, and buried them in his own apartment. So demonized was this pervert, that he ate human flesh and kept body parts in his fridge!
THESE ARE WORKS OF SATAN!
Only people who were possessed by the devil could do such things! Jesus said that Satan is a liar and a murderer!
For millennia, a mother's womb was considered the safest place on earth. Laws dating back to Moses gave special protection to the unborn child and it's mother. People would do everything possible to protect a pregnant woman from danger or injury!
But possibly the greatest scourge on the world, in my opinion, is the killing of unborn babies - and mass abortionists are going free. An increasing number of medical doctors who are trained to save lives, now spend their time - and make a lot of money - snuffing out the lives of our society’s weakest members, THE UNBORN, who have no one to speak up for them!
The Hippocratic Oath which MD’s are required to take makes my point: “I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art. ...”
And God’s Word says: “If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,” (Exodus 21:22-23)
Now, unfortunately, cruel exterminators violate this peaceful sanctuary - the mother’s womb - with saline solutions to drown the baby or steel forceps to tear the baby apart, limb from limb!
Will God judge the world: Europe, USA, Canada, Russia, China for this horrendous sin? The answer is “HE SURELY WILL”. And undoubtedly, we are already seeing some of that judgment in the earth!
Is all this violence a sign of a deteriorating age and impending collapse? Does the Bible have anything to say about this? The answer to these questions is, “Yes, most certainly!”
Jesus warned, “And as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” (Luke 17:26-27)
WHAT WERE THE CONDITIONS OF THE WORLD LIKE THEN?
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” (Genesis 6:5-7, 11-13)The sins of the antediluvian age were:
1. Forsaking God
2. Idolatry, serving pagan idols
3. Violence- Big Time
4. Hearts and minds constantly filled with violence
Warning of coming judgment, Jesus Christ drew a parallel between the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah and those of the ‘last generation’ before His Return! “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” (Luke 17:28-30)
The five sins of Sodom are listed in Ezekiel 16:49-50
Pride
Fullness of bread
Abundance of idleness
No compassion for the needy
Abominable sexual perversion
History always has a way of repeating itself. Is violence becoming a way of life and is it too late to stop it?
CAN WE HOPE?
Is there any hope for this perverted, war-torn, disease-ravaged and poverty-ridden generation? The Scripture says: “The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, it bringeth up mire and dirt. There is no peace saith my God unto the wicked”.
A genuine Bible Revival of righteousness would change the picture drastically, for the better. Let us pray and seek God and then take the Gospel of Jesus to the lost, needy, sick and perishing of this world! Amen.
