HOLY SPIRIT BREAKS THE YOKE

The Bible says: “The yoke shall be broken because of the anointing.” (Is. 10:27). Satan is our Enemy and wages his evil and insidious war against God's people through demons of unbelief, pride, hatred, lust and fear! The blessed Holy Spirit, however, breaks the yoke of Satanic bondage from off our spirit, soul and body!
The yoke of fear, torment, guilt, condemnation, pain and sickness must leave because of the anointing! The blood of Jesus Christ shed for us on Golgotha cleanses us, purges us and frees us from anxiety, oppression, sickness, disease and death.
God's Word declares: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh unto God, and He will draw nigh unto you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.” (James 4: 7,8,10)
Jesus said, “And ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you Free. If the Son therefore shall make you Free ye shall be Free indeed.” (John 8:32 36). “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
“Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works shall he do; because I go unto My Father.
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the SON. If ye shall ask anything in My name, I WILL DO IT.” (John 14:6, 11-14)
JESUS IS THE TRUTH!
Jesus Himself is the Truth. He said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” (John 14:6). He gives us the assurance, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. I will be with thee until the end of the world.” (Matt. 28: 20; Heb. 13:5).
Whatever enemy we face, we have ultimate peace, assurance and victory through the blood of the everlasting Covenant, the eternal Word of God, the blessed Holy Spirit and the matchless name of JESUS the Christ of God!
He is the Liberator of lost humanity, the Emancipator of the human race, the Saviour of the world, the great Physician, and the Baptizer in the Holy Ghost and Fire! We are fully armed with the Sword of the Spirit, purged by the Blood of the Lamb, endued by the Person of the Holy Spirit and hidden in God the Father; world without end!
The Bible says: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment, thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord.” (Is. 54: 17)
“So shall My Word be that goeth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Is. 55: 11). He invites: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” (Is. 55:7)
THE YOKE IS DESTROYED!
The Bible states: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil: for God was with Him.” (Acts 10: 38); “... For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might DESTROY the works of the Devil.” (1 John 3:8).
The works of the Devil are five-fold: Sin, Fear, Poverty, Sickness, Disease, and Demons!
Jesus Christ came against Satan and all his evil works! He shed His blood to purge SIN from our lives. He destroyed FEAR by purchasing our Peace. He fed the hungry and promised to meet our material needs. He HEALED the sick, raised the dead and cast out multiplied thousands of demons from the tormented! His vicarious death and glorious resurrection destroyed Satan's power over mankind!
The Bible says: “If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the BLOOD of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1: 7); “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27).
“Give and it shall be given you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6: 38).
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10: 19)
“And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature... And these signs shall follow them that believe; in My name shall they cast out devils... They shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16: 15-20)
TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU!
I stand foursquare on God's Word and the promises of Jesus! He said, “Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11: 28, 29)
What was He saying? When you are yoked to the Devil, you carry the burden and he makes you suffer all the agony, pain and despair. When you are yoked to Jesus, He carries the burden. He has done the heavy lifting on the Cross and fills you with His peace and joy!
Jesus suffered such great agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, that He sweat great drops of blood. In Pilate's Judgment Hall, our Saviour was scourged with the brutal Roman cat-of'-nine-tails. Only 40 stripes were allowed by Jewish law, when a man was scourged. St. Paul stated: “Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.” (2 Cor. 11: 25)
Jesus was scourged by the Romans, whose only law was to keep a man alive so that he could be crucified. Some historians believe that Jesus may have received one hundred strokes before he made the torturous walk from Pilate's Judgment Hall to the hill of Golgotha, where He suffered, bled and died as God's Pascal Lamb!
Hanging on the cursed tree, Jesus prayed for those who drove the spikes into His hands and feet, and by implication for all of us! He cried, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. (Luke 23: 34)
POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION!
Through His vicarious Death on the Cross, Jesus broke Satan's grip over mankind. The Bible states: “In whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace...
And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power, and might, and domination, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
“And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.” (Eph. 1:7, 17-23)
“For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through DEATH He might DESTROY him that had the power of death, that is the DEVIL: And DELIVER them who through the fear of death should all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Heb. 2:14,15)
Jesus promised: “If ye love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide for ever; even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and and shall be in you. I will come to you.
“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come unto you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father shall send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26)
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with you from the beginning.” (John 15: 26, 27)
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. And when He is come, he will reprove the word of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believed not on Me; Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
The Holy Spirit came to convict the world of the sin of unbelief in rejecting Christ, to vindicate Christ's righteousness, and to declare to the world Christ's Victory over the Devil!
“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear , that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me, for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you.
“All things that the Father hath are Mine; therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall show it unto you. And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My Name, He will give it unto you. Hitherto ye have asked nothing in My name; ASK, and ye Shall Receive, that your joy may be full.
“At that day ye shall ask in My Name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father Himself loveth you, because ye have loved Me, and have believed that I came out from God.” (John 16: 7-14, 23-27). “But ye shall receive power after that Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me...” (Acts 1:8).
GOD'S GOODNESS IS AMAZING!
“According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.” (Eph. 1: 4-6)
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish or spot.
“Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. Who by Him believe in God, that raised Him from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.” (1 Peter 1:18, 19)
The perfection of the Eternal Plan and Purposes of God is mind boggling and beyond understanding by finite minds. Somewhere in eternity past, Almighty God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit - made the “Blood of the Everlasting Covenant.”
Even before the Foundation of the world, the Covenant was made: God the Son would be incarnated, born of a virgin woman and die on a Roman Cross to satisfy the Righteousness of the Almighty, for sins not yet committed by our first parents.
God gave us the Gift of Eternal Life through the vicarious death and resurrection of JESUS, His only begotten Son. Our Heavenly Father promised His Son that He would sent the precious Holy Spirit to His Church. Before He could pour out His Holy Spirit, Jesus our Saviour poured out His precious Blood to save the world!
Only Christ has the power and authority through the Holy Spirit to deliver us from the power of Satan and give us POWER to cast out devils and heal the sick! What the world needs today is a Revival of the Holy Spirit's quickening power in their lives to counteract the evil world of drugs, alcohol and sexual perversion. The Evangelical Component is what is missing in so many empty hearts today.
Jesus Christ is able to fill the void, the empty spot in the hearts of a lost and frustrated society in every nation and social group in the twenty first century! Satan is desperately trying to fill that void – that Empty spot to control and destroy the precious lives of not just our young people but society as a whole. He must be rejected and cast out in Jesus' Name! And by God's Power we will do it! Amen.
