Revival is the Answer!

Two words stand out in this statement: Corruption and Violence! The word corrupt means, in a state of decay; to lie and be dishonest. Corruption can be found in government, religion, business and in education! Violence speaks of upheaval, hurt, killing, murder!
JESUS LOVES LITTLE CHILDREN!
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drown in the middle of the sea.” (Matt.18:6). Jesus Christ believed in Capital punishment for those who harm little children. In Exodus 21:22-25, Moses dealt with those who harmed an unborn baby!
The murder of innocents is undoubtedly one of the greatest sins committed indiscriminately across the globe. More than 1.2 million unborn children were killed in the first ten days of 2021. In the past 50 years, fetus executioners destroyed the lives of more than 2 billion beautiful babies across the world! In Canada, 74,155 unborn babies were ripped from their mother’s womb in 2020.

COLUMBIA GLACIERS ARE 28-49% THICKER THAN COMPUTER MODELS ESTIMATED!
Extensive radar surveys on
seven glaciers in the Columbia River Basin and Rocky Mountains found the ice
28-49% thicker than originally believed, according to a new study from the University of
Northern British Columbia. Lead author Ben Pelto and his colleagues traversed
more than 182 km over the glaciers pulling a sled-mounted penetrating radar
system to collect tens of thousands of measurements.
The Columbia
River produces more than 40
percent of hydroelectricity in the United
States and serves as a vital downstream source of freshwater and an important
habitat for aquatic ecosystems. Meanwhile, the Canadian portion
of the upper basin provides 30 to 40 percent of the total freshwater runoff.
“Essentially, glaciers act as
on-demand water towers, supplementing streams with cool, plentiful water during
late summer when runoff from snowmelt has passed,” said lead
author Ben Pelto of UNBC. And the polar icefields
this year (2022) are increasing is size.

cars. There were a lot of cattle and
wildlife releasing their flatulence gas!
Another billionaire, Michael Bloomberg, says that he will spend $500 million to shut down coal plants and tackle Climate Change. Why doesn’t he clean up the violent, filthy, excrement laden and crime ridden, drug sodden streets of New York and California? It’s all about money, prestige, and power in the Community of Elites!
PERSONAL CHRISTIANITY IS DYING!
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matt. 24:37) “And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matt. 34:12-13)
One thousand years before JESUS was born, the Babylon Talmud (1,000 B.C.) stated that the only time in the world’s history that men were legally married to men and that women were legally married to women was before Noah’s Flood.
Should we not be concerned because in 2005, Canada’s Liberal Government passed the “man-on-man, woman-on-woman” Marriage Act.
According to recent surveys, only one in five Canadians has enough knowledge of his Christian religion to make sense of human existence. A staggering 43% of the Canadian population according to a recent poll feels No Answer Exists! How tragic to think that Canadians who are basically a Christian nation would have fallen so low!
Not surprisingly, crime continues rising almost unchecked, the divorce rate climbs astronomically, violence and murder is on the increase and teenage pregnancies are running at 1000 per week across the nation! According to Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, morals in the USA are at an all- time low now: “Over 360,000 unmarried teens give birth yearly; 1 in 5 Americans over 12 has herpes virus and don’t know it; 3 million teenagers contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD) yearly”.
We shouldn’t be shocked that VD among teenagers is almost epidemic across North America, when parents stop going to church and spend their time at the bars, cocktail parties, and the racetrack! When parents have ‘no time’ for God, the Bible or prayer, it is no wonder the nation drifts into chaos, violence, teenage delinquency, drug addiction, broken homes, and alcoholism!
In 2013, 19,000 College students died from drinking alcohol in the USA. “And because women’s bodies metabolize and process alcohol differently than men, they suffer a more pronounced response to heavy drinking and binge drinking than men, he added. The CIHI’s data comes from an indicator called "hospitalizations entirely caused by alcohol…”
CANADA MUST RETURN TO GOD!
Canada’s only hope is a return to righteousness and decency! Pornography is contaminating young as well as older minds and runs like a sewer across the world. Moral decay brings economic and political decay! The Roman Empire and the Golden Age of Greece rotted away morally and then totally fell apart; militarily, socially, economically; and politically.
Society today is infected with the virus of sin - just like in Noah’s day - with corruption and graft in business, government and even the church! The church needs a revival of holiness, and an awakening to the sad conditions of a morally sick community, and a dogged determination to change things - to do something about it!
Ministers of God need to be alerted, awakened, and re-fired with the power of the Holy Spirit. We need another dip in the fountain of blood, another experience in the Upper Room with Jesus, and a fresh glimpse of Calvary and the price Jesus paid for our salvation! The Church needs a new vision of an eternal Hell, and a burden for lost and perishing souls who are heading that way!
Laymen can help turn the tide through their consistent prayers, total commitment in church attendance, consecrated giving and fervent balanced witnessing. Let us pray for our pastors, evangelists, and theologians. Ask God to build a fire under your pastor! We, the ministers of God must lead the way in exemplary living and sacrificial giving to God and His cause!
HERE IS THE KEY: A REVIVAL OF PRAYER!
“Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come”. (Joel 1:13-15)
God’s Word explicitly tells preachers what to do: Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly and gather the people into the house of the Lord for a time of weeping and crying out to God in humility and prayer! Here are the reasons we need a revival:
THE LORD’S MINISTERS MOURN!
“Why should the Lord’s ministers mourn?” Because the meat offering, and drink offering is cut off (v. 9). The priests were unable to function because there were no resources. The priest used a portion of the meat offering to exist.
When ‘Revival Fires Burn Low’ and God’s people become cold in their devotion and love to Him, the tithes and offerings are very often neglected! How can we proclaim Christ’s Gospel if His people are not stirred by the Holy Spirit to undergird ‘the work’ with their tithing and giving? A red-hot revival causes people to see their responsibility in giving of their substance to the Lord’s work
THE FIELD IS WASTED, THE LAND MOURNETH; FOR THE CORN IS WASTED: THE NEW WINE IS DRIED UP, THE OIL LANGUISHETH!
The admonition again is to the shepherd, the vinedresser. We are to be ashamed! Why? Because the harvest of the field is perished! What a tragic thing! The harvest is destroyed! How awful to think of the prairie farmers getting hailed out, dried out or frozen out 100%. That would be devastating! To lose the harvest could cripple the economy!
How much worse to lose the spiritual harvest! The Christian Church has lost much of the harvest. Young people have slipped out of the church and gotten involved with the alcohol and drug scene - spending their time sniffing glue, popping pills, smoking hash, taking LSD, hanging around discotheques and bars! And the tragedy of fentanyl is now killing thousands of precious young people.
God help us to salvage the harvest. It’s time for an old-fashioned ‘Prayer Meeting’ in our churches, where we seek the face of God to save precious souls for God’s kingdom!
WE SEE A PARALLEL OF ISRAEL’S SPIRITUAL DEMISE TO THE CHURCH TODAY. THE JOY HAS WITHERED AWAY!
“The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field are withered: because JOY is withered away from the sons of men.” (v 12)
Why is Joy withered away from the sons of men! Why has the Christian Church lost the joy of salvation? Why do born-again people appear to be enduring their salvation when they should be enjoying it?
Because we have lost the harvest! Let every Christian begin winning souls for Christ and the joy will return. There is nothing more joyful than to lead lost souls into the knowledge of sins forgiven!
We must witness to the lost, needy, and lukewarm about God’s great mercy and love and we will see results. Then we’ll have joy, and remember, “The joy of the Lord is your strength”. (Neh.8:10). Do you want to be strong? Receive the joy of the Lord and you will receive great inner strength!
The Prophet thundered out God’s Word of warning: “For My people have committed two evils they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” (Isaiah 2: 13). How sad that ‘God’s People’ would forsake the Eternal Living God and turn to gods that don’t exist!
The Bible says: “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. (2 Chron. 7:14). God has promised that if we do the four things He requires, revival will break forth:
1) Humble ourselves!
2)
Pray fervently!
3)
Seek God’s face diligently!
4)
Turn from our sins!
Satan is very active, and many present-day signs point to the wicked, end-time generation which Jesus foretold. The Bible however gives us hope! “When the enemy shall come in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him”. (Isaiah 59:19)
THE HANDWRITING IS ON THE WALL!
Soon, Jesus Christ will return for His Church, and judgment will fall upon this sinful and wicked world. There is HOPE, however, for the Bible says, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be delivered” (Joel 2:32). Again, it states: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16: 31)
To Christians I say, “Let us win souls now while we still can.” To the unconverted the Word of God invites: “Come now and let us reason together saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Is. 1:8): “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with Me.” (Rev.3:20)
Let us return unto the Lord with humility, renouncing pride, arrogance, and selfishness, for the Bible says: “...God resisteth the proud but giveth grace to the humble”. (1 Peter 5:5). Jesus said, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh”. (Luke 21:28)
PREACHING CHRIST!
Martin Luther stated: “The whole Bible is about Christ only everywhere.” You will find Him in every chapter of every book, because He is the Word of God! Martin Luther was climbing up the stairs in St. Peters Basilicas at the Vatican, kissing every step when he heard the Holy Spirit, saying, “The just shall live by faith!” His spiritual eyes were opened and that was the beginning of the Protestant Reformation that saved the demise of Christianity!
St. John stated: “And the WORD was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:13,14). We preach Christ Crucified, risen from the dead, ascended to Heaven, seated on His Father’s right hand, and returning with power and great glory! Amen.
NOTHING WITHOUT JESUS!
Nothing without Jesus, but everything by Him! The Bible says: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
To wit (that is) that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. For He made Him to be Sin (offering) for us, who knew NO sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Cor. 5:17-19, 21)
“Without Him, I can do nothing. Without Him, I’d surely fail. Without Him, I would be drifting like a ship without a sail. So, I’ve asked Him to be my pilot. His Word my compass and guide; Till I’ve anchored safely in Heaven; For without Him, I’d drift with tide!”
St. Paul declared, “For I know that within me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good which I would, that I do…O wretched man that I am!
“Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me FREE from the law of sin and death.” (Rom. 7: 18, 19, 24; 8:1,2)
WHO AM I? A FAILURE WITHOUT CHRIST!
Who am I? An utter failure without Christ! Born in sin with an attitude of pride, and self-will. My righteousnesses are like filthy rags. (Is. 64:6; Rom.3:10). “But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” (Rom.4: 24, 25)
With Jesus, however, I am a victor over Satan, fear, sin, sickness, and death! I am a child of God, born again, washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ and an Ambassador of His Kingdom! Jesus said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” (John3: 3)
Pride is a filthy, evil, and unclean thing! It was the SIN of Satan! What did it get him? Agony, fear, trepidation, torment, and eternity in the Lake of Fire forever! With absolutely no recourse, the Liar is lost forever. He is a doomed Despot and the world’s greatest Fool!
St. Paul said, “Neither give place to the devil.” (Eph. 4: 27). St. Peter stated: “Be sober, be diligent; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour; whom resist steadfast in the faith…” (1 Peter 5:8,9). St. James stated: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will Flee (in terror) from you.” (James 4: 7).
The Bible declares: “And the seventy returned with joy saying, even the devils are subject unto us and Thy name. And He (Jesus) said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning FALL from Heaven. Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and Nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
JESUS said: “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these SIGNS shall follow them that believe. In My name shall they cat out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not harm them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:15-18). Amen.
