CONCERNING JESUS CHRIST

Christ alone is the Saviour of the world. There is none other! Christ alone is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There is none other! Christ alone is the Healer of the sick and suffering. There is none other! Christ alone is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost and Fire. There is none other! Christ alone is the Prince of Peace. There is none other! Christ alone in the Light of the world. There is none other!
Christ alone carried our sins, infirmites and diseases in His own His body up on the curseed tree on Golgotha. There is none other! Christ alone rose from the dead on the third day, defeating Satan, Death, Hell and the grave. There is none other! Christ alone poured out the Holy Spirit on His Church giving supernatural gifts unto men. There is none other! Christ alone will return for His bride and take us all with Him to Heaven. There is none other! On Christ the Solid Rock I stand. All other ground i ssinking sand! Amen.
FOUR GREAT TRUTHS!
Four great truths the Church must always believe, practice, declare and publish are: God’s Word, The Blood of Jesus, The Name of Jesus, and The Holy Spirit! Why is this? Jesus Himself is the Word of God.
The Bible states: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1: 1-2,14)
The Bible declares: "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once in the Holy Place, having obtained eternal Redemption for us...How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself wihout spot to God, PURGE your conscience from dead works to serve the Living God.
"And almost all things are are by the law PURGED with blood: and without shedding of blood there is no remission." (Heb. 9:12,14,22)
THE WORD OF GOD!
The Bible is the
written Word of God and Jesus is the Living Word of God! When we receive the
Word of God into our hearts and live by its precepts, Jesus comes into our
hearts by faith. Jesus used God's Word to defeat Satan during His
wilderness temptation: “And the Tempter came unto Him, he said, If Thou be
the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
“But He answered and said, It is written, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE,
BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD… Jesus said unto him again, THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT THE LORD THY GOD…Then saith Jesus unto him, GET THEE HENCE, SATAN: FOR IT IS
WRITTEN, THOU SHALT WORSHIP THE LORD THY GOD, AND HIM ONLY SHALT THOU SERVE. Then, the devil leaveth Him, and behold, angels came
and ministered unto Him.” (Matt. 4:
3,4,7,10,11)
THE WORD BECAME FLESH!
Jesus Christ is the Word of God: “In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the
beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not
anything made that was made.
“In Him was Life; and the Life was the light of men.
And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, as of
the Only Begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John the Baptist declared: “Behold the Lamb of God, which
taketh away the Sin of the world… And I saw and I bare record that this is the Son
of God. And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of
God.” (John 1:1-4, 14; 29,34,35)
The Bible states: “For the Word of God is quick and powerful
and sharper than two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12)
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD!
“Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God, that ye may
be able to Withstand in the Evil Day and having done all to stand. STAND
therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate
of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of
peace;
“Above all taking the shield of FAITH, wherewith ye shall be
able to quench (destroy) all the fiery darts of the wicked (Satan). And take
the helmet of Salvation, and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD of God.
PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the SPIRIT (other tongues)
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”
(Eph. 6:13-18)
THE BLOOD OF JESUS!
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, He (Jesus) also took part of the same; that through DEATH He
might DESTROY him that had the power
of death, that is the DEVIL; and DELIVER them who through fear of
death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Heb.2:14,15)
“Neither by the blood of goats and calves but by HIS OWN
BLOOD, He entered in once into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal
Redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an
heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How
much more shall the BLOOD of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered
Himself without spot to God, PURGE your conscience from dead works to serve the
Living God?
“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and
without the shedding of blood is no remission. So Christ was once offered to
bear the sins of many; and unto them the look for Him shall He appear the
second time without sin unto salvation.” (Heb. 9:12-14, 22-24,28)
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have Redemption
through His Blood, even the forgiveness of sins; Who is the image of the
invisible God, the firstborn of every creature;
“For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and
that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and
for Him, the church: Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in
all things He might have the pre-eminence.
“For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness
dwell; And having made PEACE through the BLOOD of His Cross, by Him to
reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in
earth, or things in Heaven.
“And you that were sometime alienated and enemies in your
mind by wicked works, yet NOW hath He reconciled in the Body of His flesh
through DEATH, to present you HOLY and UNBLAMEABLE and UNREPRVEABLE in His
sight; If ye continue in the Faith grounded and settled.” (Col.1: 13-23)
JESUS TOOK OUR PLACE ON THE CROSS!
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
"And being found
in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto Death, even
the death of the CROSS. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him and given
Him a name which is above every name.
“That at the name of
JESUS every knee shall bow, of things in Heaven, and in things in earth, and
things under the earth; And that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ
is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 2: 5-11)
“And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, Now is come
salvation and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the Power of His
CHRIST: for the ACCUSER of our brethren is CAST DOWN, which accused them day
and night. And they OVERCAME him (Satan) by the BLOOD of the Lamb, and by the
word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev.
12: 10,11)
THE NAME OF JESUS!
The name of JESUS speaks of salvation. His name means the salvation of God. He therefore is the God who saves, heals, and delivers from all evil and satanic power!
Sozo is a Greek word that means to be healed
emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It appears more than one hundred
times in the New Testament. It refers to making people whole, especially where
Jesus cast out evil spirits and healed the sick and suffering!
The angel Gabriel spoke to Joseph saying: “Joseph, thou son
of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived
in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt
call Him JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.” (Matt. 1: 20,21)
“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even
the devils are subject to us through Thy Name. And He said unto them, I beheld
Satan as lightning fall from Heaven. Behold I give unto you POWER to tread on
serpents and scorpions, and over all the Power of the Enemy: and nothing shall
by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:17-19)
“And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the
Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but
he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe;
In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they
shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt
them, they shall lay their hands on the SICK and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:
15-18)
St. Peter declared: “Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this?
or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though we by our own power or holiness we
had made this man to walk? The God of
Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified His
SON JESUS; whom ye delivered up. And denied Him in the presence of Pilate when he
was determined to let Him go.
“But ye denied the Holy One and the Just and desired a murderer
to be granted unto you; And killed the Prince of life, Whom God hath raised Him
from the dead: whereof we are witnesses. And His NAME through faith in His Name
hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by Him
hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” (Acts 3:
12-16)
THE HOLY SPIRIT!
Jesus promised to pour the Holy Spirit upon His followers, but He had to suffer, bleed, die, and be raised before He could do so. He had to pour out His BLOOD for us on the Cross, before He could pour His Spirit upon the church!
He said: "And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another (like Himsef) Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come unto you. But the Comforter (Holy Spirit) which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remrembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14: 16-18; 26)
"Neverthless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go away, I will send Him unto you. And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
"Of Sin, because they believe not on Me: of Righteousness, because I go unto My Father, and ye see Me no more, of Judgment, because the Prince of this World (Satan) is judged
"Howbeit when He is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoebver He shall hear, that shall He speak : and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me (JESUS) for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you." (John 16: 7-15)
YE SHALL RECEIVE POWER!
"But ye shall receive POWER after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1: 8)
"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound fro Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto tghem cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance..we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God." (Acts 2:1-4,11)
"Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, Im would not have you ignorant. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the Word of Wisdom; to another the Word of Knowledge by the same Spirit; to another Faith by the same Spirit; to another the Gifts of Healings vy the same Spirit.
"To another the working of Miracles; to another Prophecy to another discerning of spirits; to another diverse kinds of tongues; but all theseworketh the One ad the selssame Spirit dividing to every man severally as HE wills.
"For by One Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." (1 Cor. 15: 1, 7-13)
The Holy Bible states: "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying This the Word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." (Zech.4:6)
"In Whom (Christ) ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation: In Whom also after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that Holy Spirit of Promise, which is the earnest (down payment) of our inheritance until the Redemption of the purchased possession (Believers in Christ), unto the praise of His glory." (Eph.1:13-14). Amen.
Some years ago, I felt impressed to write a statement about my Saviour Jesus Christ, who rescued me from the power of Satan and the world’s sin and slavery. Jesus Christ alone is responsible for the authority, power, peace, and joy that we have through His vicarious Death on the Cross for us and His glorious resurrection from the dead!
WHO IS JESUS CHRIST? IS HE TRULY GOD?
Who is Jesus Christ? Is He truly God? If He is, then let us
worship Him and serve Him! If He is, then we are in good hands! If He is truly
God and was incarnated (God in human flesh) so that He could die for us to
Redeem us, then His love is greater than any and all human love. If He is, then
Heaven is real, and the Bible is True!
If He loved us that much, then it is beyond comprehension or
understanding! It is beyond the scope of human thought or imagination. It is
truly apodictic, ‘evident beyond contradictions. If Jesus of Nazareth is truly
God as He claimed, then NOTHING is too costly, too difficult, too arduous or
beyond human capabilities or reasoning for mortal man to abandon, to KNOW Him
and declare His Lordship and Eternal Majesty to a corrupt, idolatrous, and
dying world!
If Jesus of Nazareth was truly God the Son in human flesh,
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a Jewish Virgin, walked among men to show
us the mercy, grace and love of our Creator for the sole purpose of securing
our eternal salvation, by meeting the demands of Divine Justice through His
torturous sacrifice on our behalf on the Hill of Shame, the ‘Place of the
Skull’ called Golgotha, then, our love, devotion and absolute commitment to Him
in all things must become our number one priority!
And because He has showered His love and grace upon a
perverted, blasphemous, and murderous world through the outpouring of His Holy
Spirit upon His Church for more than two thousand years, should it not cause
sinning mankind to fall down on bended knee, and cry out with The Roman
Centurion and his soldiers who crucified our Saviour, “Truly this was the Son
of God”! Amen.
