The Bible states, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made, that was made. In Him was life; and the Life was the life of men,

 "That was the True Light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name.” (John 1:1- 4, 9-12)

 Who is Jesus Christ of Nazareth?

What does His name mean? “Yeshua” is the Hebrew word for “Jesus.” This name means “to rescue, to save, or to deliver.”  His Name, therefore, means ‘The Salvation of God’. The Salvation of God is forgiveness of sins, healing of wounded spirits, tormented minds, and infirm bodies. It is Eternal Life!

The Salvation of God includes His Peace, Liberty, Freedom, and Joy! It means lost souls become children of God by His grace and mercy. It means that our Lord has given the Church His blessed Holy Spirit. Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit and in the Name of Jesus Christ, we have been given the power and authority to cast out evil spirits from those who are fettered and bound by Satan and his evil kingdom!

Jesus of Nazareth: True God from Eternity. True man by His incarnation and virgin birth. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, scourged, crucified, and died for the sins of the world. On the third day God raised Him from the dead and set Him on His own right hand, from whence He shall come and judge the quick an the dead!

Prophet Isaiah stated, “He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53: 4,5). St. Peter wrote, “Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by His stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

1. He is the Word of God

John used the Greek word Logos to describe Jesus: (In the beginning or before creation or the beginning of time). Logos means Word. Jesus is the Word, the spoken Word. He declares that Jesus, the Word, was with God, and was God." 

 The Mystery of the Triune God! 

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three persons are One God. Jesus said: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24).

 The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Godhead. "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searchest the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God." (Rom 8:26-28)

Jesus Christ, the SON is the only member of the Godhead that takes on physical form. The Bible says: "Even the Mystery which hath been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints. To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory

"For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power...Buried with Him in baptism,  wherein also ye are risen with Him through faith the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised Him the dead...

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross. And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made  a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Col. 2: 9 14,15,-12, 14, 15)

 2. Jesus is the Eternal Son of God

"He was born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was, made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld  His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father both of grace and truth." (John 1: 1-4; 9-14)

 3. Jesus is the Creator of the world

"He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not." (John 1:11)

 4. Jesus is the Saviour of the world

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name." (John 1:12); “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

5. Jesus is the Life giver

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be Saved. 

"He that believeth on  Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God,” (John 3:16-18)

6. Jesus is the Baptizer in the Holy Ghost and Fire

“John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water, but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.” (Luke 3:16):

 “For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost shall come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem and Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

7. Jesus is our Soon Coming King

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father’s House are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have called you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3)

“And when He had spoken these things unto them, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward Heaven as He went up, behold, two men in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into Heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into Heaven.” Acts 1: 9-11)

“Behold, I show you a Mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed; In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Cor. 15:51,52)

 THREE ESTABLISHED FACTS

CHRIST’S VICTORY – Galatians 3: 13,14: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree.”

SATAN’S DEFEAT – 1 John 3: 8:  “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might Destroy the works of the devil.”

OUR LIBERTY – Colossians 1: 13: “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdon of His dear Son.”

                    A Lesson in Humility

                            PRIDE COMETH BEFORE THE FALL

Ed Murrow, famous American commentator said, "Keep your perspective! Remember that just because your voice reached halfway around the world, you are no wiser than when it reached only to the end of the living room." 

 The technology that sends a broadcaster’s voice thousands of miles across the globe is not that person’s invention. Certainly, your ability to communicate got you in the position to release your talent but it took a lot of other people's technical ability, and other people's capital to assemble the equipment that would transmit your voice.

No one is self-sufficient and "no man is an island". We all have something to contribute!

A HAUGHTY SPIRIT GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION.

Pride has a subtle way of seeking to enter a person, especially after an initial success. It is noticeable in many first and second year, university students. In their third and fourth years they calm down and realize how much there is yet to learn.

And many young people at age 21, are suddenly amazed at how much Mom and Dad have learned during the past 5 or 6 years. The real truth is found in an old German proverb, "We get old too soon and smart too late".

The Bible says, "Pride goeth before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction". (Prov. 16:18. How true that is! Pride causes overconfidence which triggers the downfall.

During the Beatles' heyday, John Lennon stated that they were more popular than Jesus Christ. And according to Abery Goldman's book 'The Lives of John Lennon', the freaky John Lennon, while "tripping out on acid" together with his close friend Pete Shotton said, "I think I'm Jesus Christ".

The next afternoon, "the inner circle of the Beatles' organization - Paul, George, Ringo and other Apple executives - met with John and Pete in Lennon's office. All arrived in a mood of keen expectation wondering what could have inspired the normally passive Lennon to sound the alarm. John rose from behind his desk and addressed his colleagues.

"I've got something very important to tell you all", he began. "I am Jesus Christ come back again. This is my thing." He demanded that "Apple prepare a press release immediately announcing His return."

SATAN IS REALLY BUSY THESE DAYS. HE HAS HIS ‘DONKEYS’ CARRYING HIS FILTH AND GARBAGE TO THE YOUTH OF OUR GENERATION.

Marilyn Manson the weird, satanist pervert made waves across North America with his Shock Rock concerts. This self-proclaimed Satan worshipper often ripped up the Bible, denounced God and Christianity and appears on stage as an awkward mix between a scantily dressed drag queen and a living corpse.

But here’s the irony of the whole farce - He’s as proud as a strutting peacock! Please note: You don’t need to be beautiful, talented, intelligent or rich to be proud! I’ve met some of the ugliest, ignorant, clueless and poorest of people who were proud.

PRIDE,  I REPEAT,  IS THE SIN OF SATAN!

And the worst manifestation of pride is a person’s refusal to humble himself and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Commenting on his philosophy of life, Marilyn Manson, who chose his name from Marilyn Monroe - Hollywood sex symbol who committed suicide - and Charles Manson - the brutal, insane serial killer - said, “Man is God”.

The Bible says, “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God”. (Ps. 14:1) In the literal Hebrew, King David was inferring that only a fool, imbecile or insane person would say that there is no God.

And only a bigger fool would say that weak, puny, temporary (here today gone tomorrow) and dying humanity is God - omnipotent, omniscient, omni-present and eternal! What a grand fool Marilyn Manson was! He takes top honor for fools.

And here’s another nut case! According to Newsweek (July 21, 1997) Noel Gallager commenting on the influence of his band, ‘Oasis’ said, “We’re more popular than Jesus Christ now...Some of the pop stars I like are more important than God...I  hope we mean more to people than putting money in a church basket and saying 10 Hail Marys on a Sunday”.

WHAT FOLLY AND FOOL HEADED PRIDE!

Soon after Lennon’s blasphemous statement, the Beatles disbanded and sometime later Lennon was dead, at the hands of a former admirer. And a study of his life shows a streak of madness, including many days he and Yoko Ono stayed in bed in a "love-in for world peace" and appeared with Allan Rock, Canada's former Justice Minister - at a university in Toronto, clad only in his pajamas.

And get a load of this garbage - he and other members of the Beatles sat at the feet of the weird occultic Maharishi who is the proponent of Yogi - leap frogging (flying) for world peace and other deceptive Eastern Hindu occultic practices! 

WHAT LIES, DECEPTION AND PRIDE!

It would be wise for us all to listen to the words of Ed Murrow, which is in fact a call to humility. St. Paul stated, "Let no one think of himself more highly than he ought". (Romans 12:3)

A STUDY OF HISTORY REVEALS THAT PRIDE DOES PRECEDE A RUINOUS FALL

A good example is Adolph Hitler, who constantly raved about conquering Great Britain, envisioning a 1000 -year Nazi dynasty. Where did he end up? Dead by his own hand in a bunker in a ruined Germany. 

His name will forever be synonymous with sadistic, demonic brutality, and insane lust for power!

What of Napoleon Bonaparte, the proud Emperor of France who crushed every foe under his feet?  When he entered Milan, Italy, Napoleon summoned the archbishop of the church and demanded, "Prove to me that there is a God and the Bible is the Word of God".

NO GOD, NO JEW!

The archbishop never uttered a word but simply pointed to Napoleon’s leading soldier, General Mesina, a Jew. Proud as he was, the Emperor recognized the truth of what the archbishop had revealed, shouted a command, turned his horse around and together with his troops galloped away, without firing a shot!

If there is no God there would no be Jew, for Abraham was 100 years of age and Sarah 90 (who was barren) when Isaac was born!  Where did Napoleon end up? In exile and disgrace on the island of St. Helena! Before he was poisoned, however, he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, to his trusted friend General Bertrand.

Voltaire, the atheist, almost destroyed France with his twisted philosophies.  He was going to rid that nation of every Bible and dethrone God. He boasted that within 100 years there wouldn't be one Bible left in France, except in some dusty old museum.

BEFORE HIS DEATH, VOLTAIRE BECAME DEMENTED AND THE NURSE ATTENDING HIM DECLARED THAT FOR ALL THE MONEY IN FRANCE SHE WOULD NEVER AGAIN NURSE ANOTHER DYING INFIDEL.

When the doctor, nurse or friends entered his room he would shrink back in his bed and shriek, "the Nazarene, the Nazarene"! Just before his death Voltaire screamed, "Thou hast conquered, Thou Nazarene".

Ironically, the very house in which Voltaire lived was purchased 100 years later, and turned into a Bible Publishing House.

Soviet communists had long scoffed at God, the Bible and the West, but it was the USA and Canada's shipment of subsidized wheat that kept the Soviet Union from starving during the Cold War.

Thirteen minutes after Israel became a nation at 4:00 PM, May 14, 1948, the American President recognized Israel as a free, sovereign and independent state.

Joseph Stalin refused to do so saying, "Israel is only a nation on paper". Since the fall of the Soviet Union, about 800,000 Jews have left the bankrupt countries of Eastern Europe to live in Israel! For several decades the USSR had persecuted Jewish citizens and refused them permission to leave.

It is therefore ironic, that when Russia Bear meets its doom, it will be at the hands of the little nation of Israel. The prophecy is recorded in Ezekiel 38 and 39 and will surely come to pass!

PRIDE: THE SIN OF SATAN

Pride has properly been called 'The Sin of Satan', because it was this sin that brought him down. In a future column to the Edmonton Sun I will share an in-depth study on this evil, destructive and arrogant tendency which the human race has inherited from the Master Deceiver himself.

Here is an outline of that important message:

 Pride is the basis of all rebellion against God.
 Pride is the root cause of secular humanism and false religion.
 Pride is the underlying reason for occultism, spiritualism and the New Age Movement.
 Pride caused Satan's downfall and is perpetuated by his lying spirits.
 Pride is the basic reason for the creation of an infidel science and the evolutionary theory.

The Archangel Lucifer, because of his great wisdom and beauty, rebelled against God and was expelled from heaven. He is now "the prince of the power of the air" and the world's leading terrorist!

He said, "I will ascend into Heaven; I will exalt My throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the clouds; I will be like the Most High". (literal Heb. "I will be the Most High")

PRIDE WAS HIS DOWNFALL!

What will be his end? God spells it out in Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 14 and Revelation 20:10. "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10)

It is imperative that we guard against the spirit of pride! May we all remain humble and flexible in the hands of God, as we serve Him with joy and gladness.

The Premier Sin of Sodom - for which God judged that city with fire and brimstone - was PRIDE! The other four sins were fullness of bread, abundance of idleness, lack of compassion for the poor and needy and the abominable, perverse sexual practice of homosexuality! (Ez. 16:49)

After God judged Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon declared: "Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and His ways judgment: and those that walk in pride He is able to abase". (Dan. 4:37)

The Bible warns: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever". (1 John 2:15-17)

Let us remember the lesson we have learned from studying the lives of Adolph Hitler, Napoleon Bonaparte, Voltaire, the Russian communists, John Lennon and Lucifer himself.

Vladimir Lenin boasted in 1917: "Religion is the opiate of the people. There is no God, but woe unto us communists if there is one."

 Joseph Stalin declared: "Give me 50 years and there won't be one Christian left in Russia".
 Nikita Kruschev said, "I will close the Churches with one blow".
 Leonid Brezhnev stated, "By 1980 the Church will be dead in Russia".
 Chinese communist leaders said in 1976, Decadent religion and capitalism is thriving in Russia".

While in the USA in 1989, Mikhael Gorbachev, "Only Jesus Christ had all the solutions to life's problems. I don't possess that skill". When a Reportesr pressed him on his statement about  Jesus Christ, he answered, "Yes! Jesus Christ!"

Boris Yeltsin said, "Communism is dead in Russia! We have lied to you for 70 years. I promise you - NO MORE LIES"! What a joy to hear the Russian president speak to the US Congress and the American people by television in 1991.

 I was preaching in Russia at that very time and heard his voice via radio broadcast.

During my Crusades in Russia shortly there after I had the privilege of leading the sister of Michael Gorbachev to Christ in our crusade in Chernigov. After I had delivered my Gospel message through an interperter many answered the invitation to be saved, among them was Galina the sister of the Russian Leader.

My routine was to give a Bible to those receiving Christ. After a mass prayer of salvation for the forgiveness of sins and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Sviour and Lord, I sat on a chair and signed every Bible. One of the personal workers whsipered in my ear that a woman wanted to speak with me personally before I signed her Bible,

That lady was the sister of Michael Gorbachev. She asked if I had heard of Michael Gorbachev. I said, "The whole  world knows about him." She answered, "He is my brother but we have different mothers. His name is Michael Sergai Gorbachev while mine is Galina Sergiovana Gorbachev." We kept our coverstion private because the Ukrainians had little love for Russians! She left the Meeting rejoicing in Jesus!

Jesus Christ said: "...I will build My Church and the gates of hall not prevail against it". (Matt. 16:18)

JESUS IS OUR GREAT EXAMPLE!

A study of the Bible clearly shows us the beautiful spirit exemplified by our Lord! In order to secure our salvation, God the Son humbled Himself and was incarnated (God in human flesh), born of a virgin woman in Bethlehem, and lived among men as the "Carpenter's son".

He was blasphemed, castigated, spat upon, scourged, condemned as a common criminal and crucified in shame on a Roman cross, for our sins!

TALK ABOUT HUMILITY!

Jesus - the Son of God - the Creator of the universe was put to death by the very men He was giving life for! He died on the hill He had created, between two common criminals!

St. Paul writes, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

"And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil. 2:5-11)

WHAT MUST WE DO TO RID OURSELVES OF PRIDE?

St. James admonishes: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up". (James 4:10)

Again the Bible says: "And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:" (1 Peter 5:4-6). Amen.

MEANS YOU!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Martin Luther called this Scripture verse “The Bible in miniature.”  D.L Moody preached from it time after time.  Hyman Appleman often weaves it into his messages. 

All the great preachers quote it again and again.  I have preached many sermons from John 3:16. It is considered the Golden Text of the New Testament and the central theme of the scriptures, since it gives the exact position of God in relation to man. “He loves us!”

It shows man’s depravity and totally lost condition without Christ – “Without Christ we would perish!”  It lets us have a glimpse into the eternal bliss of the redeemed.  “He gives us Everlasting life!”  The Fountain of Youth at Last!  Praise God. 

 A never dying life with Christ, which starts on this earth with the acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Saviour and continues with the glorious appearance of our glorified Lorrd at His appearing (the rapture of the Church) or at our department from this life and transition into the glories of the next at the occasion we call death. 

It also speaks about the cost of Salvation.  The price paid for our redemption: “God gave His only begotten Son.”  How did He give His Son and whatever happened to Him?  The answer of course is one many of us know, but one that is not known by millions yet across the world and sad to say, many who do know but do not really care.

I have told this glorious story to millions by radio, television, printed page and crusades across the globe.  Now I joyfully share it again –

The Almighty, Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, Holy and Righteous Creator of the Universe Whom we call GOD, to redeem fallen and sinful man from judgment, torment and hell, sent His Only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to be born of a woman to die for our sins like a man (God cannot die).  He came to earth to show us what God was really like (God is love).

He lived a perfect life, helped people everywhere, forgiving their sins, healing their sick bodies and even raising the dead.  The official religious order of that day rejected Him in jealousy and envy and nailed Him to the cross (Roman death penalty).  He shed His blood to pay for the sins of a lost world, to meet the demands of a Holy God and His code of Divine Justice.

After Jesus Christ had died as our substitute, (he was prefect, never having committed sin) He arose from the dead in power and victory.  HE IS ALIVE TODAY and stands ready to save those for whom He died!  That means you and me!  I accepted His offer of mercy in the month of June 1957.  He changed my life and He can change yours.

HE CHANGED MY LIFE: HE CAN CHANGE YOURS

Whosoever means you, my beloved friend – you may receive God’s mercy and love into your heart and life simply by an act of the will  - accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and confessing Him as your Lord. 

The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!”  (Acts 16:31).  “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, but with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

The  prophet said, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.” (Joel 2:32).  St. Paul in writing to the Church in Rome made the same declaration when he said, “For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

St. Peter gives us the same scripture in Acts 2:21, “And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”  The truth is clear as crystal and the facts are established and the Good News is on the streets and everywhere! 

JESUS CHRIST PAID THE PRICE FOR YOUR SALVATION!  

Jesus died for all, that all who believe and receive Him will live.  That includes YOU!  Simply call upon His Name today and you will never be sorry.  The Bible says, “He that hath the Son hath Life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” (1 John 5:12) 

You say, “But how can I be saved?  How can I approach God?  How can I know for sure?”  You must trust God and totally rest in His promises!

WHY DO WE ALL NEED TO BE SAVED?

The Bible gives the answers to all our perplexing questions: We all need to be saved because we are sinners in our unregenerate state. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23)

“All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned everyone to his own way; but the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6);

“But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. (Gal.3:22)

Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

We all need to be saved because outside of Christ we are without hope.  “He that believeth in the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES SAY:

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Tim. 2:5)  You approach God through Jesus Christ, who died for you! 

You may ask, “How can I be sure God wants to save me?”  The Bible says, “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”  

Again the Word of God declares, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” (Mat. 11:28)

“But” you say, “I do not have the power to live the Christian life.”  That is true! You and I do not have the power to live above sin in our own selves, but thanks be unto God He gives us the power we need!

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name.” (John 1:12)

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)  Hallelujah!

GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS         

The scriptures states that “God is no respecter of persons…Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth Him and worketh righteousness, is accepted with God.” (Acts 10:34-35)

He will save “All who come to God through Christ.” (Heb. 7:25) “Wherefore He is able also to save then to the uttermost that some unto God by (Jesus) Him, seeing He every liveth to make intercession for them. (Heb. 7:25)

God is no respecter of persons when it come to Salvation.”…whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev. 22:17)  Jesus said, “If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink.  He that believeth of Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water.” (John 7:37-38)

God grants the Gift of the Holy Ghost to all believers who truly are hungering and thirsting after righteousness.  “But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.” (John 7:39)

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)

God is no respecter either when it comes to the Judgment!  If you have not received Christ as your Saviour there will be no second chance!  You will be judged like everyone else if you are unsaved.

The Bible says: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God: and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 

“And the sea gave up the dead which ere in it: and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death.  And WHOSOEVER was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15) 

NOTICE – “Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved!” (Romans 10:13)  WONDERFUL.

But here is another great truth and equally as important – “And whosoever was not found written in the book of Life was cast into the lake of Fire!” (Rev. 20:15)

“Whosoever heareth shout, shout the sound!
Spread the blessed tidings all the world around;
Tell the joyful news wherever man is found,
WHOSOEVER WILL MAY COME!

Whosoever cometh need not delay,
Now the door is open, enter while you may;
Jesus is the true, the only Living Way;
WHOSOEVER WILL MAY COME!

“Whosoever will” the promise is secure;
“Whosoever will” forever must endure;
“Whosoever will” til life forevermore!
WHOSOEVER WILL MAY COME!

“Whosoever will, whosoever will!”
Send the proclamation over vale and hill;
‘Tis a loving Father calls the Wander home;
“WHOSOEVER WILL MAY COME!
“Whosoever will, whosoever will.

Send the proclamation over vale and hill;
‘Tis a loving Father calls the Wanderer home;
“WHOSOEVER WILL MAY COME.”

CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD TODAY, confess your sins to Christ, repenting of them and accept Jesus Christ as you personal Saviour. Confess him before men and then OBEY HIM in all things (Water Baptism, Holy Ghost Baptism, Witnessing, Tithing and Giving offerings to His Missionary Program, and Faithfulness in attending God’s house) and you will be glad you did!  AMEN!
